Very warm and personal welcome from Kelly and friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Nothing was too much trouble. I noticed some chips etc being served late in the evening in the bar area. I asked if they were serving food. The reply was no but it had been prepared for the bowling team. I was then asked if I would like some. I was promptly given a plate of sausages and chips free of charge ! Bar prices were excellent and the accommodation cost was also very good. A full English breakfast was also supplied for £5.00

One side of the bed seemed to have a collapsed mattress but the other side was perfect and very comfortable with a great nights sleep.

Kelly, the landlady, was so lovely. Town centre location - just felt welcome. Will stay again.

Really lovely room/inn situated in the heart of barnstaple! Super close to convenience stores and restaurants. The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating - will definitely be staying there again!

The owners were very friendly, recently renovated to provide accommodation. Clean and warm. Breakfast available for an extra fixed price for a generous fry up with toast and drink. The pub itself is busy but friendly. Own entrance if you don't want to walk through the pub.

The only thing for me was no mirror in the bedroom. Easily solved by buying a small one that was needed at home anyway.
