My husband’s birthday was this weekend and we did a couples trip with a few of our closest friends. John’s Santa Cruz beach rental was the perfect place for all of us! The house was so clean, had comfortable beds, fully stocked, and just a real treat! The location was amazing and the view of the beach from the top balcony was awesome. The backyard with the fire pit and hot tub was a real bonus. John was very easy to communicate with and his instructions were easy to follow. We hope to be able to say here again soon!! I set up a business retreat for four couples and of course you always want the best. I was overwhelmed with the location, cleanliness and overall layout of the home. It's walking distance to the beach, centrally located for bike paths, shopping and all conveniences. A short drive to Santa Cruz boardwalk and downtown. The owners have made it SO EASY to check in and out. They were there via text for any questions we had. We would highly recommned to our friends.

This was our second visit to this vacation rental and it’s was just as beautiful and relaxing as our first visit to this home. Very spacious, well equipped, and great location. The hot tub , bicycling, beach chairs, coolers, toys, everything you need to relax and enjoy your with family and/or friends is there. Can’t go wrong with this vacation home!

Perfect place for our family visit during Thanksgiving week - spacious modernized home with great location and lots of amenities. Owner was very thorough and easy to contact about everything. Highly recommended - we’ll be visiting again in several months.

This is a beautiful home—comfortable and well cared for, and it worked well for our family of 9. It was clear that the owners have considered every detail in order to make the home attractive, convenient, and relaxing. They provided detailed Information about the house and surroundings and were accessible when needed. It really is a short walk to the beach, and the owners have provided all that make a beach outing fun – except for weather, and we don’t hold them responsible for that. I highly recommend this home.

Our 2nd time staying for a long weekend. House was clean and perfect. Loved the kitchen and backyard- especially when the wind was strong. Love this neighborhood- close to lots of things but also quiet.

Really enjoyed our stay. Very close to beach. They have everything you need! Only reason not 5 stars is a lot of construction in the neighborhood (out of owners control) when other houses had guests on weekend we could really hear them until we closed windows. Would have liked better quality soap/shampoo/TP for the price. Not a fan of the outside cameras (3 disclosed but there are actually 4). I get it for security but the one in back seemed a bit intrusive as it is on deck off master and over looks hot tub. Not sure what they can see and we were there with young teens ...

This is my second time staying in this house. It is perfect. It is very well stocked and equipped, from kitchen appliances to beach toys and bikes. The location is ideal, biking distance to anywhere you want to go. John, the owner is very professional and great communicating details of the house and trip. This was perfect for two families with kids.

Everything we could possibly need was already here in this lovely well-appointed home. Plenty of space to be together and room to get away to yourself. Thank you for making your beach treasure available to us.

John has one nice property that exceeded our expectations. John was very helpful and could not have been nicer. We were in town for a wedding and the house was convenient to the Church and Dream Inn. Could not have had a nicer place to stay and recommend to anyone needed a great place to stay when in Santa Cruz!

This was an amazing home, with so many amenities. John was a great host and always available. There were plenty of wetsuits, boogie boards, beach towels. We did not need to bring anything. It is a short walk to the beach and the street is so quaint. It has a bench at the end of the street to sit and watch the sunset. The house has non-breakable wine glasses for the short stroll to the bench. Everything was in working order, we BBQ'd on the immaculate Grill on the front deck several nights. The kitchen had everything we needed. The basement is set up perfectly for the kids to be there while the adults are upstairs. The hot tub was very clean and large enough for our group of 9. There is a fire pit outside and a great surf shower to clean off the sand. The house is close to restaurants and we felt very safe there. We will definitely return for another visit. It was so perfect!! Thank you!!
