This property is beautiful, clean and well appointed. For my family of 4 the property was extremely comfortable - we could happily live there! Also, Mike is great. He is friendly, knowledgeable and courteous - answered all my questions. I HIGHLY recommend this property.

The only disappointment was the bar-b-que grill did not work and we could not get the Television to receive any signal.

We had the best time! We had kids ages 2, 3 and 17 plus 3 adults and had lots of extra room. The unit was perfect for traveling with little ones as you could easily put them to sleep and still enjoy the amazing views from the porch or even use the pool/hot tub only a few steps away. Mike was very responsive - we had a few last minute questions come up leading up to our stay and he always replied within 24 hours. Everyone on the island is friendly and helpful. We used the grocery service and had some must haves ready for us when we arrived which was great but the grocery store is a short 15 minute drive if you prefer to shop yourself. The property itself is well cared for and maintained daily. One of the lawn keepers cut down a few coconuts for us and opened them for fresh coconut water. The pool and hot tub were very clean and we almost always had it to ourselves. Even when other guests were around it never felt crowded. We used the grill and cooked breakfast in several times. The unit had everything we needed. We also ate out at a few restaurants and always had an excellent experience. All of the restaurants are closer to Georgetown, about a 15 minute drive. Now the water…unbelievable. The water is so blue it glows. The beach is the most perfect white sand. We did a half day excursion with Sugar and would highly recommend it. We swam with the pigs, held starfish, went snorkeling, visited Exuma point sandbar, and fed the iguanas. It was the highlight for us all. We also rented jet skis, some went scuba diving and we took a water taxi to Chat n Chill. Everything was easy to get to and everyone on the island was very accommodating. You will definitely want a car rental if you plan to leave and explore the island or go out to dinner. We will recommend this trip to all of our friends and family. We hope to make it back soon!

Just perfect

There were two families that stayed at this house, and it honestly fit perfectly. There was large common spaces to allow for the large group but very good space for personal time as well. Love that there is a bathroom for each room, great for the teens. The view did not disappoint, the pool was amazing and definitely used daily. The perfect setup to enjoy the beach and then transfer to the pool area. When the ads say the most beautiful waters, there are no words. There were a couple things that were needed, and Norm (onsite manager) was there to help. We did greatly appreciate the house was stocked with all the essentials (not like other places we have stayed). The prices on the island are pretty high so have the comforts of home really make it easy to cook at home as well. The other owners were very pleasant as well and willing to share tips/local places. Rent a car for sure. Exuma Water Sports - a MUST, Krusty Crab - Amazing food, Chat/Chill a great beach break. Again if you get the chance stay here, visit those key places and sit back and ENJOY.

We could not have asked for a better place to stay. The views are unbelievable, and the place was beautiful and clean. The location can’t be beat. We will be back!

The Mac Shack was everything our family had hoped it would be. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view is amazing and the house was very clean and comfortable. Infinity pool and hot tub also a bonus. Mike was great with suggestions and responding to questions. Absolutely stay here!

Mike’s home is beautiful, and even better than the pictures. The house was extremely spacious and comfortable, with added touches to make it feel like home. They were nice bath towels, beach towels, a full spice rack, books and DVDs. The pool and beach were just breathtaking. Sunrise and sunsets are just beautiful here. We couldn’t have imagined a better location to spend a long weekend celebrating my daughters birthday! We’re looking forward to coming back to the island, and back to this beautiful property.

We had an amazing stay!! The property was absolutely perfect for our group. We had 9 people: 4 adults and 5 kids ranging from 9-17 and it was a great fit for all of us. It was in the most beautiful location. The beach was stunning and very quite - felt like we had a private beach all to ourselves!!! It’s in a wonderful quite little neighborhood close to the airport, grocery store, liquor store and gas. The infinity pool on sight was also amazing. The property incredibly clean and has everything you need and more to feel comfortable - plenty of beach towels, bath towels, linens, cookware and even seasonings! The owner Mike was easy to work with and the Property manager Norm and his wife Tina were fantastic. The photos in the listing were a little different than in person - nothing bad at all - apparently they just did a little remodel with some furniture updates which had us confused for a few mins, but everything was very nice and comfortably fit everyone in our group. There was a very small bug issue (literally the tinniest bugs I’ve ever seen on the counter tops), I guess they were supposed to spray while we were there but obviously had to hold off. It wasn’t a big deal for us at all. We loved this island and the property! I would absolutely rent here again without hesitation.

House is beautiful and has everything you need! The location is minutes from the airport and central on the island which made our stops easy to get to. Tina and Norman were always easily accessible and accommodating. Great trip with amazing family and friends!

Amazing location with a beautiful house to match. We have stayed at Mike’s house in Exuma in the past and would love to again in the future. The convenience to George Town, the airport and local restaurants is bar none. You will be continually amazed at the breathtaking views from the infinity pool over looking the soft sand beach and turquoise water. Can’t wait to come back.

This is our 2nd time staying at Mike’s house. Everything is perfect from the location, view, pool and the house. This trip we had a positive Covid case during our stay and Mike and the on-site groundskeeper went the extra mile to find us space in case we couldn’t travel home on time. We will absolutely be back again!

This is the 3rd time I've stayed at Mac's and it is glorious. Lots of room, so very clean and the beach and pool make it heaven on Earth. Mac and his property managers were super responsive to our questions and a couple things we needed. Couldn't have been a better mother/daughter trip! One thing that might help others is that the main grocery store requires you to bring your own bags.

Outstanding property

The MacShack is AMAZING. When you first walk in the door, the view thru the condo out onto the ocean will blow you away. There was even a 6 pack of beer in the fridge and snacks for our arrival. Communication with Max was excellent. He responds to questions within minutes typically. We did have one small scare, because we kept waiting to get a message that you typically get with door codes and checkin details when staying at places like this. We didn’t have that info by checkin time, but once we arrived, we were able to make contact with onsite manager who gave us the code right away. Not a huge deal, as it didn’t delay getting in. The condo itself is perfect. We had 3 couples, and each couple had their own bedroom and bath with plenty of common space in the kitchen and living room. We had one extra bedroom and bath that we never even used. Everything was very clean. Having the washer and dryer was a great thing. There is an ice machine in the parking lot. We didn’t notice until the day before we left so when you go, use it to avoid expensive ice at the store. Speaking of stores…there’s not much very close, and as you can imagine being on an island, things are pricey. We packed a lot of food in checked bags and that helped. We didn’t mind the 15-20 minute drive to store. It was worth it to be so removed from everything and have an entire beach to yourself. We pretty much had the entire beach and pool all to ourselves. The back porch is a great place to hang out, and the closet had plenty of extra folding chairs and “stuff” for the beach. Bring bug spray for evenings…the mosquitoes were HUNGRY! There’s plenty of dishes and stuff in the kitchen. Only small things we noticed were the dishwasher wasn’t great, but Mac said he’d just ordered new stuff so that should be fixed soon. Also, the butcher knives were in rough shape. If you plan to do any “precision” stuff like filleting fish, pack good knives. All in all, we all agreed it was the best trip EVER. The views are so gorgeous I can’t even put it into words. We will be back!

We had a fantastic stay this past week at this property! The location of the house was perfect- steps away from a gorgeous beach and having a huge pool was amazing. The house had everything we needed and more. It was very spacious, well laid out and great for our family of four. The host was very responsive and from the moment we booked to the moment we left, we felt very well taken care of. Highly recommend this property!

Amazing views and an amazing and comfortable house. Living area is great and so are all the bedrooms and bathrooms.

You will not be sorry staying here. Mike was wonderful to communicate with and was very responsive, Norm ( property manager) was super!! The home is better than the pictures, the location couldn't be better. We have visited Exuma multiple times and this trip was a perfect escape from reality. We will be back. We had a wonderful week staying at “This I’ll do” and used it as our home base to explore the island.

We just returned. Absolutely loved the location, property, and the view was amazing. Our group consisted of adults, 10, 14, and 2 17 year olds. The house was perfect for all ages and provided all that we needed and more. Mike was very helpful with recommendations regarding restaurants, boats, groceries, etc. Hated to leave! We will definitely be back!
