Steps from beach, very comfortable bed, large closet with hangers, nice touches like bathrobe, beach towels, parking pass! Key-code access so no worrying about keys.

Stairs inside unit lead up to locked door (from the other side, not my side) that owner lives in. Owner is nice & assured me he doesn't use those stairs for access, but host is combative. She kept insisting that a door locked from the other side, so someone could walk down stairs into where I was sleeping, was "just like a hotel room." She didn't like any criticism, such as dish wand is missing handle (and I'm required to wash dishes) or that booking.com sent me message before leaving instructing me to put towels in washer when there was no washer in my unit. When I sent a private message questioning this directive, she fired back a personal attack that was totally unnecessary. She is in the wrong line of work. Studio is in the back of the property & a large sliding door allows in plenty of light but you're looking at the wall of the next door house. The location is literally 1/2 block off of "the strand" and the beach (you're on the block separating Hermosa & Manhattan Beach) so that's wonderful if you don't mind absolutely no view when you're inside.

My husband and I loved the location of the studio. It was literally steps to the beach. The studio had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was super comfortable. It was a great place to relax after a long day of biking along the beach. We also loved that we are so close to the airport. Most important of all, the manager/host is very responsive to all Communications.

Parking was a little bit of a challenge but definitely not a deal breaker.
