This 1950’s home was well maintained and decorated so well. The inside has comfortable furniture and feels cozy and inviting. Nice special touches with complimentary toiletries was wonderful. We slept well in the quiet neighborhood and the backyard is not only creatively done but we loved having coffee in the “shipping container” room and eating dinners at the little table. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had friends that lived in the neighborhood so we knew we would like the location. Close access to beach, restaurants and downtown by car. Perfect spot for R&R with some friends!

Really appreciated the low scent accommodation and what wonderful owner and home. Great memories made even if the weather wasn’t perfect. Super close to many eateries and grocery stores, and the beach is a very short drive away. Will definitely stay again next year!

A vacation spot to remember! Being first time air-bnbers, we fell in love with the beach house cottage our "stay away from home" for 4 days. We are very familiar with Ventura but we loved how close we were to our favorite spots... The beach, Duke's, Stephens Greek Mediterranean Food (if you like greek food you will not be disappointed, phenomenal!), The Harbour, shopping and a 30min beautiful drive to the wedding destination in Camarillo... We definitely did not want to go... Everything was perfect the first day to the last. We loved the nostalgic feel to the home and is decorated as a beach home should be, teal colors, surf boards, hammocks and driftwood throughout. The bedrooms are all lovely and the beds gave us all a great night sleep, I slept in the master and I haven't slept through the night in awhile... I didn't wake up once! The home is very clean and well taken care of. Everything was posted of what was expected, which was very minor and the rules of the home were very simple and easy to follow and we were happy to oblige... All-in-all our trip was one we will never forget! We definitely miss the weather, eventhough we only live 45min. away coming around the bend we hit 98° and hit a perfect 100° as we pulled in our driveway! So it's nice to escape the heat, only if it's for a couple days... We Thank You so much for opening up and sharing your home and hopefully will be back! - The Fennicks 🤙🏻

The 4pm checkin was rather late. House was nice. Beds were comfortable. Would have liked some Bluetooth speakers. Jacuzzi was very small, overall was nice comfortable house.

This is a charming property that has an image tranquility that's hard to beat. A safe and secure back yard with lovely landscaping and solar light strings at night that gives it a magical quality. Comfortable bed and pillows.

Needed a place to just stay in safely for the New Years and this place was great. We cook a lot so it was nice to have the kitchen nicely stocked. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the whole place is nicely decorated. My dog loved the backyard and did many zoomies. TV had all the apps to watch any shows/movies, close distance to a market, and easy parking. We had a slight issue w ants but Hans was very communicative throughout this entire process. We did not go to a beach or any other venue so cannot comment on the location, but it was nicely suited to our needs.
