The house is huge, it easily accommodated our 10 people. We played basketball, played baseball catch in the huge front yard, lounged in the hot tub in the cool weather. We watched football outside by the outside fireplace. This house is absolutely perfect! I will stay in this house whenever I visit the Humboldt area.

Tons of space and amenities. We enjoyed staying away from town. The neighborhood is quiet and quaint and definitely close enough to town for everything you would need (assuming you have your own transportation). We used it as home base for visiting sites in the area including several redwood parks and it worked great for that.

Wonderful home with everything you need for adults and kids. Highly recommended for large groups with kids.

I live locally and had most of my extended family in town for a reunion. This property could not have been better. It is located in a quiet neighborhood but close to town and was large enough to accommodate 8 adults, 2 teens and a toddler with room to spare. The house is large enough with room to be alone if needed, but cozy enough that we could all be together inside. The bedrooms and common ares were nicely furnished and very comfortable. Lots of windows and natural light. The kitchen was also large enough for folks to gather when cooking as many people like to do. Outside is a wonderful space with a very nice gathering space by the fireplace, beautiful deck areas and lots of yard to play with the kids and dogs. Beautifully landscaped and just a very pleasant place to hang out. The outdoor hot tub was also a very nice touch. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who needs a bit more space due to a large family or group.

Such an incredible space that accommodated our entire family of 12. It was a beautiful home, well maintained, and very well stocked. The house has many rooms to spread out in and was a perfect location between tide pooling and hiking trails. Would absolutely recommend and be happy to come back here for future stays.

If you are looking for a home to accommodate a large group in a beautiful setting, this is the place for you. We especially like the spaciousness, from the kitchen to the outdoor space. We used the spa, outdoor fireplace, ping pong, played football and soccer in the grass area, and enjoyed our morning coffee on the outdoor decks. The indoors had large coffee tables which made it convenient for playing games. One downside we encountered was the wifi/internet was very intermittent; one could never do computer work at this property. Our TV streaming even lost connection often. Our group also needed a second refrigerator for our food/drink which would be a good addition. The beds were comfy, linens soft. and two of our children loved their loft sleeping area. We definitely will rent this property again when we reunion in the redwoods!

There is a hole in the front yard that my foot fit nicely into, and I fell hard and got a pretty bad sprained ankle out of it on the first day and could not enjoy my time there. This hole should have been noticed and covered before. My niece later did put one of the big rocks in the front yard over it. The home is not new, and it was fairly deep. I am saying is I wasted a lot of money for the trip but I was happy to give my older sister a birthday party even though I couldn’t do anything.

We loved the peaceful & quiet neighborhood & all of the area around the house. Very roomy & comfortable beds & furniture! Kitchen was fully stocked & well laid out too! Hot Tub was clean & easy to use & a nice way to end our days!
