The cabin was better than we could have imagined! Everything was super clean and the location was perfect for going into Mammoth Caves National Park! It was so great being surrounded by huge trees in the fall colours while sitting on the back porch with the fireplace going and watching Thursday Night Football! :) All of the bedrooms and bathrooms were huge and had great storage! The master bathroom was gorgeous! We definitely didn't want to leave at the end of our trip :)

We spent fall break here with 4 adults and 5 kids. There was plenty of space for all of us! We loved both the indoor and outdoor living spaces. The kitchen was well stocked for eating in and the firewood was well stocked for the fireplace and fire pit. All the kids asked to come back! They had plenty of room to run around and play outside and spent nearly all the time at the house playing outside. We spent time away from the house at Mammoth Cave and at Nolin Lake State Park. Be sure to book cave tours a couple weeks before you arrive as they fill up!

I couldn't have imagined a more beautiful house! If you're looking for some R&R, this is the place. I napped out on the back porch every day. My family and I spent so much quality time together sitting by the fire and non stop laughing. Nolin Lake is so beautiful, I didn't want to get out of my kayak. Robert was very helpful and answered any questions I had about the property or the surrounding area quickly. My family and I are ready to go back already

This place is absolutely gorgeous. It is a great retreat for relaxation. It is pet friendly which is a must for us! They even have dog bowls available. This was our second stay here and hopefully not our last.

We all enjoyed the house. Was well equipped with everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Enjoyed the walk to the lake. Didn’t see a place to play in the water, but that was ok for us. Great place to stay.

We really enjoyed the screened in porch - it was a great place to relax. The kids really enjoyed the foosball table and we had fun playing as a family. Whenever we communicated with Robert, he was very responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

The house was beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay. Although we would have liked for there to have been a boat dock for easier access in the water each day, the boat ramp at Moutedier was close enough to cut down on the hassle of taking the boat in and out each day. The owner was great to communicate with and always responded quickly to my questions.

Great setup for a family- the screened-in porch was a great place to hang out. Close to Mammoth cave.

We had a great time staying at this property close to Mammoth Cave National Park. We made it into the park several times and when we were not there we hung out on the screened-in deck. Plenty of room for our family of eight including our grandson and granddaughter. I had a few questions after we got to the home and the owner answered me promptly. I highly recommend Bee Spring.

Loved this property!! Great escape to a beautiful location overlooking a beautiful forest. We loved all the mammoth caves activities which were about a 35 minute drive. Would definitely recommend!!

This is a beautiful property- we had no issues at all. The kitchen is stocked, lots to do within the cabin. We had a great time and would not hesitate to book again. Close access to Nolin lake was what brought us in but cabin will be what brings us back!

We enjoyed our trip to Nolin. My wife and I met some friends there for a few days. Four couples and we had plenty of room. The house is nice and in a very secluded location. We’ll be back.

Was a beautiful place to stay with everything posted was correct. It was a little farther than the cave then I would have liked and they was a strong fish smell in the fridge. Other than that, we had a blast staying there.

Our family of 9 stayed here. The house had a perfect layout and was well supplied with all the comforts needed. Had all the kitchen accessories, games, extra blankets for couch, firewood, the list could go on! Everything was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Plenty of parking. Owner communicated very quickly and responsive. 10/10 would recommend and will be back next year.

This cabin was the perfect place to relax and spend time with family. The outdoor screened in deck and hot tub/fire pit area was amazing!! Very peaceful and secluded location. Highly recommend staying here!!

Enjoyed our long weekend stay in the woods and within easy reach of Mammoth Cave.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. We liked how remote the property was and all the tourist attractions were within a reasonable driving distance.

The cabin was perfect for our two families. We enjoyed playing games on the porch, exploring the Mammoth Cave area, and relaxing in the hot tub. The house was in great condition and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy each other. The area was secluded but not too far from convenience stores and just a 20-30 minute drive to Mammoth Cave. Highly recommend if you are looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life!

We loved the property! The kids enjoyed the short trail hikes, riding their scooters in the private road, enjoying the fire pit and hot tub. We could easily get to the national park as well. Our son enjoyed multiple hours at the foosball table and the family games were a hit. Kitchen and laundry rooms made our stay work well for two families with small kids. We would absolutely recommend this property.

Great house and a safe location inside a gated community for our family. Loved the hiking trails for the dogs. Close to mammoth cave. Realty enjoyed the screened in patio with a fire. Hot tub was clean but cozy with 5. Overall a wonderfull stay and Robert was. Great host.

We had a very nice stay at this property. The highlight is definitely the screened in porch with the fireplace and TV, but the indoor furniture was also extremely comfortable, kitchen fully stocked and the hot tub was great too. No real access to or view of the lake but we weren’t really expecting any. The owner was easy to communicate with and the check in/out process was easy. The decor wasn’t quite our taste (lots of animal skins and pelts on every wall) but thats just personal preference. I only docked a star for the location - the house itself is in a very pretty gated community in the woods. But outside of the gated community, it’s a very economically depressed area with little to nothing to offer in the way of restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, etc. Sadly, most of the places others have mentioned have since gone out of business. It’s also a good 40 minute drive to Mammoth Cave. Overall, great property and very relaxing stay out in nature but we wish there had been more to see/do in the area.

We stayed there during spring break with our kids. Its an amazing property with lots to do. Perfect place to relax and forget about your worries.

This house was everything it said it was and more! We had a tremendous time relaxing in the house but especially utilizing the outdoor space. The firepit area was tremendous, and the hot tub was great for late night relaxing by the fire (Feb. trip). The trail was an especially nice treat--wide and well maintained with lots of rolling hills. The trail was not especially challenging, just a nice variation. The only steepish portion was from the house down to the trail, but it wasn't hard to manage. We have stayed at a lot of VRBO houses, and we try to find the ones with great outdoor accommodations and that are pet-friendly. This place really fits the bill, and we have never been to a home with such a great supply of aged firewood! Some houses make you feel like your pets are tolerated--others make your pet feel welcomed. This home was definitely one that wanted you to bring your pet! There was not an exhaustive list of pet rules waiting for you that weren't posted online, and our Bernese Mountain dogs LOVED being in the area around the house. We were really disappointed that we did not book a longer stay! Some things to be aware of. This is a new home (as described) which is great, but after living in a home that is over 100 years old, we were reminded that modern-day walls are thin. You can hear a lot of noise from other parts of the house, so if you have any guests in the group that needs to sleep late, they may be disappointed. We grilled out every day of our 4-day trip, and the tank never ran dry, but it is a relatively small grill, and it was in serious need of cleaning. It didn't slow us down at all, but if you have large grilling needs, you may have to do it in "shifts". The covered porch was fantastic and a tremendous way to still enjoy a cozy fire when we had rain. We came to visit Mammoth Cave (and it was an easy drive from here), but we will likely return just to hang out at the house. Highly recommend this place!
