Charming newly renovated cottage exuding warmth and comfort,boasting a delightful wrap-around covered porch adorned with patio furniture,rocking chairs,picnic table,and a charcoal grill,ideal for all weather enjoyment.The cozy sleeping loft features a full-size bed,while the main bedroom downstairs offers a queen-size bed and a spacious closet.Amenities include a washer,dryer,dishwasher,WiFi,and a SmartTV for streaming.Accommodating up to 5 guests,with sleeping space for four and a convenient cot for a fifth person.Located just 5 miles from Nolin Lake State Park and its scenic beach and hiking trails,10 minutes from Blue Holler Mud Rides and ATV trails,and a short 30-minute drive from both Mammoth Cave and Beech Bend Amusement Park.The neighborhood provides a community boat ramp,with additional parking available on-site for boats or trailers.While the cabin is not waterfront,it is in close proximity to the lake.Enjoy evenings around the fire pit in the serene wooded surroundings.

Everything about the cabin was beautiful from the large porch to the fire pit. Very comfortable and relaxing at all times of the day even with some occasional golf carts going by. Driveway is very steep so an suv is a must. Once fixed (owner is in process) should be great. 8 days and would go back anytime.

This property is beautiful! Its was very home like vibes. My kids loved the loft bedroom! It wasnt too close to neighbors! We enjoyed sitting out on the porch, building a fire. There was really everything here that you needed. We stopped for groceries on the way, and realized we forgot a few things. But they had it!!! A very comfortable stay!

Very cute cabin nestled in the hills surrounding Mammoth Caves! This cabin is a little off the beaten path, super close to water features, and about 45 minutes from Mammoth Caves (and the closest Bucee's.....).The porch was our favorite part, we made all of our meals and ate outside for our three day stay. It's not an enclosed porch, but it's definitely covered and well laid out! Inside the cabin is a very nice layout, pretty sliding barn doors for the bathroom and master bedroom. Driveway could be a pain for lower cars, reasonable for jeeps or trucks.
Note of warning though, locals drive through this area on ATV's and golf carts, so keep an eye out when driving to or from at night!

Loved the Robins Nest. Lovely inside and out. The porch was relaxing, Bed (we only slept in the downstairs one) was super comfortable, beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable. We were there to go to Mammoth Cave, and it was about 30 minutes away, so convenient and yet not overrun with other tourists. The neighborhood was peaceful. There are not a lot of food options or even grocery stores nearby, so plan ahead with that. Otherwise, we'd gladly book this again.

Such a beautiful Amish built home in the woods close to Mammoth cave. Very clean and plenty of room for our family of 4. Check in was easy, and the home was equipped with a full kitchen, washing machine and board games! The porch was amazing to sit out and have coffee in the morning. Very quiet and peaceful. Would stay again!

A great base for exploring Mammoth Cave. After seeing the lackluster hotel options in the area, we decided to find a rental instead, and luckily we found The Robins Nest. The cabin is immaculate and comfortable. Kids thought the loft room was really special. Enjoyed our home cooked meals at the lovely dining table, and the porch was my favorite spot for morning coffee!

We love staying here! We have two kids, ages 9 and 13, and they loved it here, too! We were able to visit Mammoth Cave easily. We stopped at the nearby Dollar General (DG) for food one night to make dinner, and the cabin was stocked with everything we needed to make dinner easily. The beds were comfortable. The cabin was clean. We had a lovely stay!

We LOVED our stay here… we only wish we booked it for a longer timeframe. We also had the pleasure of meeting Nancy, the owner, who was staying in her other VRBO down the road.
The pictures online do not do this place justice… it’s homey, comfortable, VERY clean, and so very inviting. The towels, pillows, bed linens, and beds were well taken care of.
If we make it back to Kentucky, we know where we’re staying! Thank you Nancy and Ken for opening up your place for others to enjoy.

The cabin was better than expected! It was nicely decorated & had a very cozy feel. We loved the wrap around porch & seclusion. The cabin isn’t far from Mammoth cave. Also highly recommend checking out the Nolin dam for beautiful scenic views!

The cottage was very lovely, comfortable, and clean. I had the nicely decorated ground floor bedroom and my daughter really loved her loft bedroom! (I can imagine it might get hot up there in the summer though.) I appreciated the soft bathroom towels and body wash provided in the shower. The fire pit was great, although I wish more kindling was provided. I recommend bringing much of your food supply, since grocery stores are scarce and decent restaurants a fair distance away. Most attractions were roughly 45 minutes away, which was fine with good planning. I suggested to the hosts that coffee filters and a few more pans be provided, but otherwise kitchen supplies were generally as expected for a vrbo. Great communication with the hosts, as well.

The Robins Nest is a great property nestled in a lake community about 30 minutes from Mammoth Caves Visitor Center. It has all the amenities of home, well equipped and is impeccably clean. Its close proximity to Nolan Lake, Mammoth Caves and Cave City make this a perfect spot for a family getaway.

This was the cutest house. It was super clean. The kids loved sleeping in the loft. Had everything we needed. It was off the beaten path so try to get there during daylight hours if you are not familiar with the area. We would definitely stay there again!

The property was exceptionally clean. It was in a beautiful location on a wooded hillside. The process of checking in and out was very easy. It was a very good price. Very spacious and Met our needs perfectly. We had a gray time and I would recommend it to anyone looking for accommodations on the area. Very quiet neighborhood.
