Good for an overnight stay in downtown Sidney.

We had a great stay here in a comfortable room with a nice little balcony. The breakfast offered was a nice perk and a good way to start our day. Staff was great.

For 330$ and advertised “ocean view” i was shocked to have to look past the parking lot to see the ocean. The room was small and underwhelming. Complimentary breakfast was laughable. All in all I did not get my $$$ worth. An expensive disappointment that will not happen again.

I was charged too much by Expedia. It was advertised at $236.00 including all the taxes, yet when I paid, the bill came to $267.24 in which there was $30.75 worth of taxes added in. This is very dishonest. I will be inclined to never book with Expedia again unless they refund the difference to me.

Beautiful hotel in lovely Sydney. Not too far from ferry. Walk to restaurants and shops. The backyard is the ocean. The hotel is nice and clean and beds were comfortable. They offered free breakfast which was amazing! Staff was nice. The only complaint I have is I wish i would've paid extra for the ocean view. Would definitely stay again.

The room was quiet and clean. Location is wonderful. Lots of options for restaurants walkable distances. We highly recommend 900 Degrees Pizza place. Their Gluten free pizza was amazing. We loved that we could charge our van while staying at the hotel. I made the mistake of booking 3rd party and needed only one of the two rooms booked. I couldn’t get a refund for the second room, but that was on me, not them.

Very quaint. Lovely waterfront suite but alas we didn’t get one even tho we booked 6 months ago. For the price, I wouldn’t stay again unless I got a view

Staff where outstanding Room had great views and was so big had a waterfront room.

The location cannot be beat. Water views from both rooms we occupied. The staff were great. Breakfast was basic but filling. Our original room had a problem with the toilet and since maintenace was gone for the day, we we were upgraded to a suite.

Was an amazing location, get ocean view, very convenient can walk the waterfront lots of restaurants, only thing was the room had an old stale smell when we got in but once we aired it out it was fine they need to get rid of the old carpets or use some carpet fresh it’s an old building but overall very nice stay

This is a great hotel. Wish we had booked more than one night. Beautiful room with a great view. Nice breakfast and lots of cafes and stores within easy walking distance. Will definitely stay here again!!

Cute quaint hotel. Very clean. Comfy beds/pillows. Robes for guests use.Nice extras. Nicky & Alison were a blast at front desk! Just around the corner from the marina & walking path, picnic tables, shops, restaurants. Flowers everywhere. We would stay again!

Pleasant, quiet and quaint

As I told one of the employees at the front desk... on the occasion that we make another road trip to Vancouver Island, the Sidney Waterfront Inn and Suites will be our first choice. Thank you for your hospitality.

Great locale right on the water in a very pretty community - my room a little dated but very clean and spacious - quite a decent free breakfast included (not hot, but good variety of healthy options) - short drive to airport - would stay again

Nice part of Sidney near the water. Feels a bit tired, but quite comfortable.

The rooms could have been cleaner with a bit more space. I thought that we had reserved a room in the building that they post in their pictures. Turns out that we were placed in a side building with no view of the ocean, despite paying for an ocean view. Breakfast was ok if you're on a carb only diet - no protein except for some hard boiled eggs. Hair on the bathroom floor from the previous guests. If you're looking for a room minutes from the ferry terminal and you're ok overpaying for what you get, then this is a great option. I personally wouldn't recommend.

Great place to stay if you are travelling with dogs and it’s right by the ocean with easy access to the beach and the sea wall.

The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was well laid out and plentiful. Overall, the atmosphere of the hotel was pleasant and welcoming. We would definitely stay there again.

The common areas and rooms look tired

The staff, including the cleaning staff were very polite and professional.

Ridiculously overpriced! Old facility in need of complete renovation. Stuffy and rooms not even close to the advertised photos. The included breakfast is absolutely minimal in a closet sized room with 2 small tables (get there early). Book this at your own discretion. Not me again!
