Such an amazing jewel of a place, such a cozy cottage. Close to the beach and perched on the edge of a beautiful marsh full of wildlife, the cottage is perfectly updated down to every detail.

Our stay was amazing. We have some health issues which require special attention and JoAnne had no problem making all accommodations for us even during the busy summer season. She made our stay so special. The house was beautifully furnished and had everything our family needed for our stay. Thank you so much for everything JoAnne.

Loved the quiet and private location while still being walking distance to the beach and a general store. Short car ride to great restaurants and downtown. The cottage was updated and bright with many amenities. We loved waking up the the marsh views every morning and the place was clean and comfortable for our infant daughter to crawl around in.

This property is exactly as pictured in the listing. Incredibly charming cottage that is very well equipped. There is a short walk along the marsh to the GRB General Store and the beach. We LOVED the location of this property. Out of the hustle and bustle of Kennebunkport proper (the traffic there 😱) but close enough to dine in Cape Porpoise, Kennebunkport, Kennebunk, and other areas. One of the best VRBOs we’ve stayed in. Highly recommend.

Wonderful spot

The nautical theme throughout this cabin is creative and fun. Its space is thoughtfully designed and constructed. ( oar’s for door handles, the tile on the wall in kitchen, cleat’s for handles on cabinets) You can walk, or ride bike (that’s provided for you to use) to the beach. Friendly neighbors are just part of the charm of this cottage.

We completely enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were perfect. Clean and every detail was perfect. The house has everything you could ever think of needing. Comfortable furniture and lovely bed and bedding. The best was being able to walk down to the beach and walk along the shore. It was so easy and beautiful. The perfect get away - relaxing and peaceful.

We had a wonderful long weekend. The cottage couldn’t have been more perfect. And the location was so close to my he beach and Kennebunkport.

Peaceful, exactly what we were looking for. The large windows overlooking the marsh, a cozy (electric) fire and comfy and clean interior provided us with the perfect short vacation we hoped for.

The property is just lovely. Anything you could possibly need and more. Clean, bright, beautifly decorated, comfy bed, and so many nice extra touches. High end everything. The view of the marsh is also great. Lots of bird watching right from the sofa.

Lovely spot and accommodations. The cottage is stocked with everything you could need. We will be back.

This was our second summer at Goose Rocks and staying in this cottage. It did not disappoint! Our family enjoyed proximity to the beach, beautiful views and all the cottage has to offer (beach wagon, beach toys, chairs and outdoor shower). Another amazing stay from an awesome host!

Absolutely loved this charming cottage! Location, furnishings, amenities were amazing. Loved the use of every square inch of space, ample beach items including bikes and kayaks, communication with JoAnn was quick, professional and super helpful, and incredible views. We’ll be back ASAP!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay… the cottage is exactly as described… extremely well equipped, everything you could possibly think of was at our fingertips! We loved watching the egrets and sandpipers in the marsh! Goose Rocks Beach is beautiful! I would highly recommend this cottage and I hope to return in the future!

My husband and 2 young kids and I had a truly wonderful stay. The cottage is immaculate and so thoughtfully and cheerfully designed. While on the smaller side, I was very impressed with the creative use of storage. It also is fully stocked with every appliance and item you could possibly need. The location is beyond magic. The views onto the marshes and the light that comes in are spectacular. We could see egrets catching fish every morning. The sense of peacefulness is unlike any other I’ve encountered. My boys loved exploring, roasting s’mores, and walking to the beach every day. We also walked to the general store every morning for fresh baked muffins. We will definitely be back and couldn’t recommend more highly!
