This home is perfectly located in St. Helena which is the halfway point for wine tasting in Napa Valley. It was very easy and quick to get to the wineries up north near Calistoga and down south near Yountville. It was also within walking distance to several amazing restaurants, coffee shops, and downtown St. Helena. The home set up was perfect for 2 couples with a bedroom and full bathroom upstairs and downstairs with a small living area on both floors for privacy. The home was cozy, comfortable, and spacious. Parking was easy and free. Diane and Lars were efficient at responding to questions. I would certainly stay here again if/when coming back to the Napa area!

We stayed to attend our son's wedding. The location was great and 2 showers was a real plus!

Zero communication, no access to property, VRBO not aware the host has become a ghost. No explanation. Waiting on refund. We were left with no place to stay.

Great house for a Napa stay. Walkable to many great eating places in St Helena. Easy access to Rutherford, Yountville, Napa, and Calistoga. House is cozy and clean. Hosts could not be better. When we come back to Napa Valley, will definitely book again. The upstairs bedroom is small but great for sleeping.

My husband and I stayed at Lars’ cute and cozy home while visiting wine country and it was perfect for us. The location is so central whether you’re going to wineries in the mountains or closer to napa, and walkable to some of the top restaurants in the area. We had to reschedule our trip and Lars was so accommodating. We will rent this property again!

Great place. Great location. We were traveling with a dog and the check in was very confusing. Left an additional check for our dog for the owner who was awesome. Will definitely stay again but management needs to streamline their process.

This was a great centralized location to visit area wineries. Used kitchen for 3 breakfast and 2 Dinner meals. Great value.

Overall this is a wonderful property. Great, central Napa Valley location. Walking distance to wonderful restaurants. Our main disappointment was regarding “ants” in the house. The problem was identified prior to our arrival but not corrected. An exterminator was called (supposedly) and traps were placed and extras left (for us to take care of? Really? On my vacation?) The info was left on a counter. We never heard from the manager or owners. We didn’t contact them either, to be fair. Anyway. Ants in the kitchen and lower level bathroom throughout the stay. Traps didn’t work.

Very convenient, great location, lovely house

Two couples of us stayed at Bella Notte for four nights in July, and we would highly recommend it. As most reviews state, the location is great, and we walked a lot. It is a charming place, well furnished and appointed. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, even though we didn’t cook there. Lars, the owner, was very helpful with some suggestions, which we appreciated. We are close friends, but not that close, so we really liked the upstairs/downstairs bedroom arrangement for privacy. Each has its own sitting area, which came in handy to accommodate different sleeping habits among the four of us. We travel to Napa once or twice a year, and usually stay in town on or near First St. This time we decided to stay ‘up-valley’, and we will continue to do that. St. Helena is very nice, and we will definitely try to stay at Bella Notte again.

We were a group of 4 girls in our 30s staying here for a girls trip to Napa. Wonderful accommodations. The location could not have been more perfect. There was a cut through right to Main Street downtown St Helena. Was only about a 5-10 mins walk to Model Bakery and all the shops and other restaurants. There is a Safeway within walking distance as well. Kitchen well stocked and coffee maker worked well. AC worked great which was nice in July! Beds were comfy, plenty of extra linens if needed. Remember to bring your own shower body wash, shampoo, and conditioner! Hand soap and dish soap was provided. Such an amazing experience especially since Lars the owner was flexible and gave us a late check out. Bella Notte was perfect and we were all so glad we chose this property for our Napa trip. Will recommend to everyone - if you’re debating this property, book it!!! Thank you, Lars!

Very nice property, well set up, clean and neatly organized. The only downside are the stairs for those who may have a mobility issue. Great downstairs bedroom/living room and nice upstairs as well. Great location and walking access to downtown as well. We would highly recommend.

Location is great. Houses around the property are recently upgraded and maintained making the neighborhood quite attractive. Neighbors were very nice and actually thanked us for thinking of them with our quietness.

we had not visited the NAPA valley since early in 2019 due to COVID-19. We wanted to stay in St. Helena to enjoy the community and its proximity to our favorite wineries. This house was a perfect spot. Comfortable for us and proximity to dining and downtown shop just a short walk away made it an extra pleasure. Only regret is we did not plan a longer stay!

We enjoyed our time at this beautiful home. From the lovely interior to the gorgeous garden with BBQ, it was a perfect place to enjoy time there while exploring St Helena and the surrounding areas. Lars was a great host and provided lots of wonderful restaurant recommendations. I highly recommend this property and look forward to staying there again when we visit Napa in the future.

If you are seeking a place a short walk (3-4 blocks top) to downtown St. Helena, THIS IS IT! Once we got to the property, we walked everywhere. It is a charming walk up Victorian style home and has everything you need. It was very clean and the host was extremely responsive. Next visit to this area we would certainly book at this home again. The house is perfectly located to walk all around St Helena, wineries, shops, and restaurants. It is very comfortable and has everything we needed for our stay. The pictures don't to the house justice with how quaint it is. I would definitely stay there again!
