I had hoped to see the McDonald Observatory. That didn't happen. However, the hosts at the B&B were fantastic. I enjoyed chatting with the couple. I shared that I am an amateur radio operator. They made their outdoor pavilion available for me to use. I was even shown how to turn on both white and red lights. (Red light is used to avoid night blindness. This is important for star gazing.) I used the white light to put away my radio and antenna and turned it off as soon as possible. I appreciated the dining suggestions and the directions to the town's only grocery store. I bought plenty of water for the rest of my trip, as well as breakfast supplies for the next morning. I enjoyed being introduced to the cats in the pavilion. I treasured the peace and quiet.

A few bugs in the room. Not surprising in a rural environment. I had to turn the A/C way down, since the air was focused on the pillow area of the bed. I was sad that the Ft Davis Pharmacy was not open. I had seen a YouTube video that higPerhlighted the milkshakes. I hope it is only a temporary closure.

Easy check in - great porch with a little kitty ambassador we named Socks and it stayed on the porch with us until we went to bed. Also - softest sheets I’ve ever slept on!!

The softest bed I’ve ever slept on. I also liked that there was a table and chairs and a kitchenette with plates and the bathroom had towels. I also liked the star pad and that the porches all had red lights to help with light pollution

I loved it. The only thing I can even think of to nitpick is that the shower is small. But it’s also a cabin so that’s to be expected.

The cabin was cute. Price was good.

I would have liked to be walking distance to the Main Street.

Breakfast was very good. The staff were very pleasant. Views were great. Everything was clean and in good working order.
