We had the best time at our ladies’ beach retreat weekend! The property is beautiful, the original older part of the home is charming, and the new addition matched the original house so well and added more space for gathering. We had seven adult travelers and everyone had their own bed. The furniture was very comfortable, and there were lots of thoughtful amenities provided. We caught an amazing sunset Friday night and watched the storms come in over Lake Michigan Saturday night from the covered back porch. The beach is just a few flights of steps down the dune, not bad at all compared to some Lake MI properties we’ve seen. Very private beach with beautiful view of the coastline. Thanks so much for a great weekend!

Lovely home in nice neighborhood and on the lake. The house was as advertised and well maintained. The views are great and the sunset was spectacular. We’re planning on returning with more of our family.

The embrace of century old trees and sound waves crashing on the beach make the house a cozy retreat for my family each fall. The old cottage winds back the clock to a simpler time, while the recent addition and upgrades make it a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the extra space and views of Lake Michigan.

Our group (6 adults, 2 young kids) had a great time during our stay at this property. The house was well appointed and comfortable to lounge in. The beach was clean and maintained. We would recommend this rental and plan to return next summer.

We celebrated our friendship this year with a weekend stay at this classic lake house. Our time was filled with walks on the beach, needlepoint, college football on TV, wine and sunsets on the deck, and playing cards until 1:00 A.M. Good times with great friends!

Our second time staying here. Clean, can walk to town and the private beach is perfect. Our family had a wonderful time!

This was our 2nd time at Cynthia’s home and it was lovely once again. It has a wonderful floor plan, panoramic views of Lake Michigan, everything you need. We brought our bikes and enjoyed morning rides around town and to both public beaches. A wonderful place. 💫

We had a lovely stay at this home! The house is very clean and comfortable, and the views and access to the beach are great. The house has everything you would need. The primary bedroom with the queen bed is up a different flight of stairs than the other two upstairs bedrooms, so families with kids who will need them in the middle of the night may want to consider this. The stairs in the old part of the house are a bit windy and tricky, but the first floor bedroom and the primary with the queen upstairs are easy to get to. Overall, I would recommend this house, and I hope to stay here again one day!
