Michaela and husband superb. I had bad accident on mtb trails. Hospitalised for 2 days. During that time I was supposed to check out but they let my son stay on during this time. Checked on him too. Lovely place and people. Defo stay again next time

As others have mentioned, it was much more like a chalet experience than a hostel. Michaela and Tomasz are very friendly and helpful, and they provided us with fantastic homemade meals a couple of nights, which added to the the chalet feel. They also gave us early access to the hostel on our first day, which gave us an extra half day’s skiing. We were three families and had lots of space to eat and socialise in comfort. The rooms were all comfortable (even if some of the bathrooms are a little small for the taller teenagers!). The location is good - close to the town, ski lift and bus stop. The bar downstairs was noisy a couple of nights but Michaela and Tomasz are very upfront about that and it was never that bad. All in all, a really great place for 3-4 families to have a good value self-catered chalet experience.

It was a beautiful location and the accomodation had a nice home feeling to it. The owners were very very nice. They even called us after we checked out to ask us personally how our stay had been at their place.

I haven't had any letdowns during my stay at the hostel. Except one thing, but that's personally, it's that we were a bit to long for the rooms upstairs and sometimes hit our heads, but that was something we could overcome and avoid after the first day.

Very friendly family hostel with en-suite rooms. This hostel's more like a chalet rather than hostel. Kitchen always open. Lots of space to store your stuff. Staff very flexible.

Great location. Very central. Large living, dining shared area. Beautiful view over the valley. Very spacious professional kitchen. Always a hot water. Great value for money . Easy to check in and check out.

Warm and cozy place that is run by a lovely family. The location is indeed central, in the heart of Chatel. There’s A very equipped kitchen, hot water all day long and a dry room for wet clothes in case you got wet while skiing (we had a rainy couple of days there). Happy to recommend!

A small note - the upper floor have low ceiling, it is less comfortable, but we found our way with it after all and enjoyed our stay
