Love it. Have returned several times, and intend to. Spacious, comfortable, well-appointed, quiet.

We really enjoyed our stay! The place was very clean and the owner had thought of everything we needed for our stay. Even chocolate on our pillows when we arrived. The beds and furniture were very comfortable and the view was beautiful! We will stay here again.

We loved the view. This is a nice place to have morning coffee while taking in the view. It was clean, quiet and very pet friendly. The only thing I would change would be to add more lighting and perhaps a first aid kit would be handy. The beds were really comfortable! I would stay here again.

Everything was wonderful with some special touches for us and our dogs! Although there was overhead noise late at night for about an hour. But it is a nice area and spacious place with a view.

We felt at home here from the beginning of our stay to the end. Parking was good. Pets welcome. Home was very clean and little unexpected extras were very appreciated. It had a gorgeous view and very comfy beds. All the important things were definitely checked off. It was not far from town and many other points of interest. Great food in town too!

Cozy 2 bedroom with a porch facing the mountain. Lisa included nice touches, from snacks to a little treat for our pup! The location was 10 minutes to town and the roads weren’t bad. In addition to the thoughtful snacks there was coffee and board games. The furnishings were comfortable and the house was very clean. We would stay here again!

The property is absolutely stunning! The house was also beautiful and clean and spacious for a family of four and a doggie. Lisa was the best host. Thank you!!! We hope to come back and see snow.

We had a wonderful experience at this property. The location is convenient to local restaurants and breweries. The house layout is perfect for two couples. The view of the mountains is incredible. The owner is so thoughtful, even leaving a welcome basket and WCU pins since we shared that we were attending a game! I would highly recommend.

Just what the doctor ordered!

Quiet, pleasant setting for a getaway tucked away in a park like setting, yet only a a few minutes away from dining and recreational activities. The apartment was clean and nicely appointed. The granola bars and chocolate kisses were a nice touch too.

What a wonderful time three old ladies and 2 fur babies had at this extradorniary home! The house was tastefully decorated and the cleanliness was unbelievable. The view was great and accessibiltiy was so easy. Our hostess was so sweet and gracious and answered promptly to some of our silly questions. Hopefully, we'll be allowed to return!

This is a very nice property to stay at as it has an amazing view of the mountains, it’s clean and it is very nice. The only drawback to the property is it is a shared property with the owner. When you read the posting, you believe you are renting a single family hous where no one else will be staying at the deweling at the same time but when we arrived, we quickly found out we were staying in the owner’s update basement that was converted into a two bedroom two bathroom apartment. It was done very nicely however it feels like a basement as you can hear the people walking above you, hear their conversations when on the decks and dogs make noisy. It would have been nice to know this information prior to renting this location as I probably would have selected another location being that I brought my dogs and I worried they would bark hearing the owners upstairs when I left them in their kennel. This prevented us from doing activities which ultimately we decided to cut our trip short. I think property owners need to be 100% accurate in their listings from title to disc rip toon to ensure renters have the experience they were seeking.

We had great accommodations and a wonderful time at this property. It was as advertised and well stocked with all necessities. We highly recommend a stay here.

Very impressed by the view as well as the comfort of the home. The kitchen was well-stocked, the home was clean and cozy. Loved our visit and our hosts!

It was spacious and wonderful with a great view. This place is even perfect for someone with mobility issues, all one level. We loved it and so did our dog! Will definitely go back.

I really amazed anyone would have negative comments about this place ....sure - it’s not a “ Cabin in the woods “ ...what it is - perfect place to unwind in privacy . Everything is provided , the price is right and the owners are very cordial and eager to make sure your stay is perfect .Lots of room , comfortable beds , super clean an amazing view from the apartment .We stayed outside watching the clouds roll past .Convenient to all the area has to offer - easy roads everywhere too . I WILL return again and again . .....take care of this place when you visit , I want it to be as good as I left it .....a very valuable asset to know this is waiting when I’m ready to return .

Flawlessly simple and effective

Waking up to a beautiful mountain view is a great way to start the day. My dog appreciated the treats and poop bags supplied, my son and I liked the beds, wi-fi, and reclining sofas. Located only 10 minutes from Sylva Main Street food and brews, we will definitely try to stay here again when visiting western NC.

My experience here was amazing. Simply out - what my heart needed from a small southern town experience. Communication with the owner was seemless, very spacious accommodations, and awesome locally owned restaurants with friendly locals. Beautiful views to boot!!

This cost and well appointed apartment suits us perfectly for an annual Christmas stay in Sylva, NC. Lisa has everything thoughtfully arranged and provided. We enjoy and appreciate her hospitality.

Overall good property. Listed as house but it's a downstairs apartment. We are lite sleepers and the barking dog woke some of us up. Wonderful view from patio of mountains.

Even though it’s just an apartment on the bottom of a house, it was an awesome stay! The house itself is very clean, there were plenty of kitchen utensils, the bed was really comfortable, and the view was spectacular. Definitely would recommend this spot.

The property was amazing!!! The views were spectacular and we were lucky enough to see a beautiful thunderstorm while we were there. Hopefully it will be available next year for us.

Great location in a quiet area and a beautiful view! Home is well kept and a short drive to Bryson City. We also drove to Whitewater Falls about 1 hour south. We’ll stay again soon!

The picture on VRBO was from the top deck of the property, not the bottom where the rental was located. There were loud noises coming from the apartment or home on top of the rental. TV’s were difficult to work. Ice dispenser had blue tape across it on the front of the refrigerator as it was not working. Have not used ice trays for years. The bedroom was very dark even with all the lights on. Not a very pleasing experience. I felt like it was lacking a welcoming appearance. There was dust under the bed and cobwebs in the corners of the bath. Not very pleased at all.

We loved it .... including our dog. Wish we could have stayed longer. We would definitely stay here again.
