For the price of the room, it was ok.

We really enjoyed our stay.🌺 It was a very quaint, clean, comfortable and relaxing place to stay. The employees were super friendly and helpful.

Renovated older hotel, clean, good location, very friendly staff. Unique furnishing and decorations. Complimentary paddle board and bike rental. Coconut Grill attached to the hotel, Ponds restaurant 1min walk. We had great experience in both. If we plan another trip to Hilo we would definitely chose this hotel again.

Older hotel conveniently located next to Hilo airport. Expensive for what you get. Rooms on the smaller side with cheap finishes. Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful however. A buget hotel experience.

Unique accommodation, and the hotel as a whole took a bit of getting used to, but we generally liked the vibe. Our big complaint is the room quality and comfort and the noise. The location is convenient but right by the airport - so there can be VERY loud airplane noise intermittently day and night. There is also way too much light in the rooms for restful sleep. Each room has a bright exterior light that shines into the room since the blinds do not go all the way down. And if anyone gets up to use the bathroom and turns on the light, the whole room is flooded with light. The shower water pressure was excellent though - probably the best thing about the room. Pool was small but night. Pretty cold & dim.

Fantastic experience here! Loved the amenities! My brother and i used the free bikes and paddleboards. We got our complimentary kombucha. Fresh local fruit Friday morning. Live music Friday night. We were able to bike to our snorkel spot and walk our paddleboards to the water nearby. Staff was very helpful! Room needed some updates but everything worked.
