A wonderful old hotel in a great part of town. If you're looking a place in a perfect location to be able to walk to numerous stores, restaurants and bars this is your place. The rooms are basic but very well done.

Came here to avoid Milton…..price was reasonable and staff was very accommodating ,
Hotel is old, but clean and has and historic charm to it.
Would stay here again.

I love historical hotels and always spread the word when I find a jewel like The Coloney in Del Rey, Florida. Have to mention the world class Cabana Beach Club pool which is not directly connected to the hotel but a family owned part of the hotel, and so worth the few minutes drive to get there.

Colony Hotel is in a great location - easy walk to the beach and all the restaurants. There is a comfortable front porch to sit and enjoy a drink or read. Breakfast is continental and basic, they do not have a restaurant. Free shuttle to the country club with private beach and pool with free umbrellas and chairs provided

Love the style of the hotels it transports you into the old days, The hotel is very well maintained, Breakfast was not what I expected for a place like this but plenty of options around. Loved the atmosphere, we always admired the place when we lived in the area, and always talked about staying there one day. And here we are for our 30 th Wedding anniversary did not disappoint, loved the breach club.

The property is in a great location; you can walk to stores, restaurants, bars, and art galleries. The room was clean and quiet. Parking was behind the hotel. The pool is not on sight, but a short drive away. It is great; the good sized pool is on the ocean surrounded by palm trees. There is a bar there, changing area and easy parking.

The only thing about this place is they charge 30.00 per person to have guests at the pool which is outrageous ! When you come to Delray to visit family and then they ask for you to pay 30.00 per guest. Ridiculous !

The property is certainly dated going back to 1926. Anyone looking for today’s room amenities such as coffee maker, microwave, etc. it’s not there. The morning continental breakfast is slim..fruit salad, 1 type of cereal, muffins, juice, coffee. There is no ramp whether bringing bags in the front door or back door (free parking lot) - it was challenging. Each room has a window style air conditioner and some rooms have a step up to the bathroom. Refrigerators are available for an xtra fee.

The staff was so friendly and kind. The bathroom update was extremely nice. The room was nice, but no mini refrigerator. The interior of the building could use a little better lighting/cheery updates. Parking was easy. I thought the pool was on site, but it is 1.5 miles away. Very nice beach, gorgeous pool.

The property is in a great location - you can walk to all the restaurants, shops, etc. Love sitting on the porch listening to music and people watching. The Continental breakfast was yummy and just enough. The only downside is there is no pool at the property, you have to drive to another property for the pool.
