We came to Wooster for an anniversary party at JAFB Brewing. This hotel was two blocks from the venue and we enjoyed our stay immensely. Breakfast was terrific.

From the initial check in to the checkout everything was above and beyond except the coffee machine in the breakfast area ( please just go back to the reg and decaf selections). To watered down ( fancy choice) coffee if that's possible. So convenient to everything downtown, I parked the car and just walked everywhere I needed to go.

Older property but maintained. Breakfast only for the desperate. Water pressure poor unless set to scalding.

Carol at the front desk was very nice. No one else was overly interested in speaking to us. Even the morning we left, I walked past three employees who were talking about another employee that wasn't there and I dropped our room keys in the container directly in front of one of them and she didn't even look up let alone ask how we were or did we enjoy our stay or even thank you staying. Pros - The place was clean. The room was clean. Carol was great. Cons- Elevator is very old, slow and small. Mattress is horribly uncomfortable, we had to go and buy an egg crate mattress topper to make it tolerable. Breakfast meh. Also wasn't acknowledged or spoken to walking in or out of that area. They were busy talking very loudly about their family issues, while people were attempting to get food. All in all the property is fine. The area is a little lack luster but we felt safe enough. It would seem that nearly all employees with the exception of Carol at the front desk, could use some training on customer service and acceptable conversation topics in front of customers.

The staff went above and beyond and were very accommodating to requests, but the building's age shows a bit, such as the elevator.

I was only there for one night, but would definitely stay there again. Comfortable bed, quiet, safe, good breakfast options.

Exceptionally well run hotel with a friendly and professional staff. The location is great with easy walking to restaurants and shops. Good breakfast.

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful!! The elevator was the slowest on eon the planet :)
