We were lucky to find this place for hurrican Helene. It's a bit old and the room was stuffy, but staff was great,

I arrived and did all the check in paperwork and provided my DL and CC only to e informed afterwards that because it was 12:54 pm that if I checked in before 1:00 pm it would be an additional $50. I have no problem with that policy but I could have been told prior to my CC being charged the deposit and me standing for 15 minutes doing paperwork. So I opted to leave and return after 1:00 pm to avoid the additional charge. Room key was provided upon my return as well as a map to the room. I was in Building 2 and Room 136. The room had a strong odor of old and musty smell. The refrigerator was not plugged so it was not cold. There was a roach in the bathroom and the bathroom floor looked dirty and uncleaned. The room lighting was terrible and there was only one chair for the table. The other chair was stained and worn. The towels and linens were all dingy and not the bright white you would expect. I did not attend breakfast so I can't comment as to it's condition. The final complaint is that upon check out, I requested a receipt and was told that because I booked online that they could not provide me any kind of receipt. I questioned about the $50 deposit transaction and was told it would be on my CC statement. So I left with no form of receipt. Needless to say that the images on the Hotels.com website do NOT reflect the actual condition of this hotel. Had time allowed me, I would have sought another hotel in the area. It was the absolute worst place I have ever stayed.

The balcony needed to be maintained better. The bed sheets were filled with holes and yellow like stains. No one were a smile on their faces. Being that I only stayed 3 days I stayed there but if you want better I wouldn’t recommend to others.

The lady made us wait outside until 230 in the morning with my service dog didn’t tell us that there was a 50$ deposit for the room until after I signed the paper

We did not stay due to the extreme smell of the room. They tried to move us but the second room was just as bad. The customer service and front desk woman was extremely kind and helpful. I was grateful for her understanding.

The property was very clean and quiet. It is a little old but very well cared of. The bathtub was a bit stained. I hope it is replaced.

Hotel is very rundown and in need of a complete remodel if not reconstruction! Everything looks dirty and for the price per night most defiantly not worth it!

It was a great stay and short distance to our true destination (LEGOLAND)

The front desk worker was very kind. The room I stayed in had some stains on the pillowcases, mold in the grout on the floor by the tub, and all the mirrors had chipping around the edges. It was probably nice at one time, but it could use some fixing up. It was a great price though. It worked fine as a place to lay my head.
