Lodging a formal complaint here of the new $7 parking charge. There's plenty of space at this location, so this comes off as a blatant money grab. It's not about the $7. The issue is that we show loyalty to you for years, but with ticky-tacky stuff like this, you don't return the favor. It matters.
I'm a CX consultant for a living. Been doing this for 20 years with billion-dollar companies. Here's how this maps out:
Attribute: New $7 parking fee --> Personal benefit/drawback: Long-time home-away-from-home is taking advantage of me --> Values/Emotions: Lower Trust, Security in relationship with Marriott --> Image/Personality: Quark (Star Trek: DS9)
Sample of one. But I'm not the only one. If you want more money, just raise your room rates by $5/night more. People will attribute it to something else (demand, etc.) if they notice it at all.

We stayed here for one night when traveling for soccer. The hotel staff is helpful, polite and offered an upgrade.
Everything was clean and the hotel was relatively quiet despite a wedding party meeting in the lobby. Convenient to highway and stores.

We've stayed here several times as it is the best property in Mount Laurel with regards to staff, cleanliness, amenities. We were disappointed to learn that they are now charging $7/day for self-parking, which is ridiculous in a suburban area.

I really enjoyed my stay here, but the one complaint I have is the lack of maintenance on the carpeting in the room. There were several stains on the carpets under the bed and near the coffee maker.

Our room was 77 degrees when we woke up. We weren’t able to get a refund or credits for an upcoming trip since we booked through Expedia. I know if we would have noticed sooner they would have been able to fix it. The staff was simply wonderful.

Excellent customer service at the front desk and from the staff through out the hotel when we passed by anyone they spoke and asked if there was anything that they could help us with. Carpet (stains) on floor 5 could use a shampooing.

The stay was lovely cuz I was with my man…. The bed was so cozy!!!
Check your shower though…..we ONLY had scalding water as the shower knob was broke.
So left in the early am cuz couldn’t shower
A few missing tiles in the bathroom

Carpet was stained and damaged, sink very slow drain (2 weekends in a row) in different rooms. Charging station on the desk and on lamps were not working. Desk furniture top was showing a major water stain or something like that. And the cable tv guide was not working.
