The hotel was nice, but a little tired in some areas. Our room smelt a little damp when we first entered but we had a long 24hrs of travel so were all shattered and just went to bed and in the morning it wasn’t as noticeable. It was clean and comfortable and quiet with it being at the back of the hotel, we heard no noise during our whole stay. The hotel is the perfect base for exploring LA. There’s some nice restaurants and takeaway options in walking distance and the area felt safe walking both day and night. Breakfast was plentiful and available from two separate breakfast rooms in the hotel, you can also take a tray back to your room which the kids enjoyed. No problems with parking in the garage, spaces always available. Pool area is small but we only used it for an hour here and there as we were mainly out and about. 5 night stay was perfect before we moved on to our next destination.

We really enjoyed our stay as a family of 5. The rooms were large and the pool was nice at the end of a busy day sightseeing. The location was central and lots of places around to eat/drink.

I would not recommend staying here on the weekend. There is a club next door that blasts music loud enough for residents to hear the words & feel the base for hours late into the night. In addition, the hotel staff are unable to help if the music is too loud & the hotel is full. No earplugs. Nothing. The hotel is in a convenient location but the noise next door is a problem. The room is dingier than depicted in picture online. Otherwise it is clean. Sub-par breakfast. They offer plain oatmeal with no toppings. Why even bother? The free breakfast is not worth it. Go to Mel’s drive in for breakfast. It’s close by, uncrowded, open 24/7, & the pancakes are good.

Hotel was superb. Breakfast a little crowded but excellent quality. Pool area very nice, parking but pricey but this in a prime location. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

We had a pleasant stay at the Best Western. The room was well equipped with a large and comfortable bed. The parking was very convenient and the hotel was well located to access all LA attractions. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The breakfast however was terrible - we didn’t return after day 1. The food was not great, but the worst part was only plastic plates and cutlery were available. Not good for the environment or practical to use! The breakfast room was also very small and uninviting. We just walked out to get coffee and breakfast locally instead, and would still recommend the hotel for its value and location.

The building, property and room was beautiful and clean. However, we had constant trouble with the toilet flushing properly. The plumber was there 4 times and we were forced to use the public washroom in the hallway. The phone didn’t work until the 3rd day and I had to go to the desk to report our issues more than once. Although they were prompt with sending someone all that was offered was a “sorry”, for our inconveniences. I was very disappointed I didn’t get the room location I requested, nor did they offer to switch us when one came available even though we were staying 5 nights. I won’t book with this hotel again.

This was a cute property for a short stay. There are some stores and restaurants close by which was very convenient.

We had a wonderful time. Our room was comfortable and nice.. We loved the pool! And the breakfast was delicious.

nice building, nice room except that the water in the shower was not draining out fast enough and was to my ankles almost when showering. There was also no mirror on the wall of the bathroom. Shower curtain was in not so great shape and not long enough. First time ever in my life that I've had to pay for parking $29.00 especially for the rate of the room I paid for.

They never brought me my bottle of wine.

The staff listened to my request and offered a solution which I appreciated. Breakfast was great For $NZ450 per night I expected a nicer hotel. Decor was mustard yellow with dark wood furniture and dim lighting. My room view was of Air conditioning units. It could be nice if it was refurbished.

Really impressed by this hotel. Perfect location, great room with a really nice shower and it opened right up onto the lovely pool area. Will definitely come back next time I am in Hollywood
