Lovely stay. Would highly recommend!

Caveat this review with the fact that the hotel is currently undergoing substantial renovations. Arrived to find extremely busy reception and lounge area - I asked if they had an event which they said they didn't. There was no where to sit whilst awaiting check in to open in an hours time. Room looked a little worn with aging decoration (see photos). Powerful shower. Good air conditioning in the hot weather but a little noisy. Lovely position on the river - it's beautiful to sit outside in the sun and watch the boats sail past and use the nearby lock. Good quality and volume of breakfast. Outdoor pool also lovely.

Warning - undergoing renovations at the moment Reception staff very helpful Had to change room as superior room booked looked out onto grey concrete wall and room too dark. Second room standard but had balcony overlooking the river. Superb. Breakfast excellent.

Hotel renovations going on but did not disturb us. A slight issue getting tea and coffee at breakfast but overall a good stay. Good location by the river Thames for walking and good use of free shuttle into Windsor

Staff were very helpful and exceptionally friendly. There were renovations taking place on the site but this did not detract from the inviting atmosphere in the public areas and the comfortable bedrooms. The food was exceptionally delicious- buffet style - giving a wide choice of delicious dishes.

Excellent value, comfortable room and bed. Breakfast was lovely and we will be back.

Had a lovely mini break here to celebrate our anniversary, can’t complain about anything as we enjoyed it. The food was very good, the spa was lovely and especially our treatments. Room was good and clean. Good shuttle bus service into Windsor. Handy for travelling into London, it only took 41 minutes on the train from Egham Station- which is about a 20-25 minute walk from the hotel.

Currently construcion is going on and had some noisy. Also, if you meet with wrong receptionist, you will have the room, looking at a bunch of waste material from construction site. The breakfast was excellent and it does have very good spa area

Superb stay in this great spa hotel. Second visit in 2 months. Just what we needed with a wonderful relaxing visit.

Hotel was great however I’m not a fan of only being able to use the spa until you check out (11am)

Very poor customer service in the restaurant. I was pointed at by a waitress when I asked for some help and she walked off. The checkin was a very embarrassing situation as my travelling guests arrived before me and weren’t allowed to checkin until they had paid for the rooms even though it was on a group booking in my name. I then had to spend 20 minutes to get the hotel to refund their cards and use the card that was used for the initial booking. On our second day, it took another 20 mins to locate the rooms we had booked. Checkin staff were rude and dismissive as if it was my fault. I won’t be returning.

Great Spa excellent for a short relaxing break worth the stay only for it . Restaurant service was great , nice clean room the only negative was the mattress not up to the level of confort expected

Health and safety is spurious with all the building work. Don’t stay there with sensitive lungs due to dust and paint everywhere. Malfunctioning ac in multiple rooms. Food lovely. Bar / restaurant staff generally lovely - especially Miles. Reception staff - unwelcoming

Lovely setting amazing staff … a shame there is building work but this is suppose to be finished soon. We will definitely be returning.

Clean and comfortable and a large room. Was disappointed in restaurant offering (buffet only) and no room service options. TV in the room regularly froze.

The hotel is being refurbished but this was well managed and communicated, had no issues with noise etc but the change to a Warner hotel is evident in standards of service. I had to complain at breakfast because after arriving to find no clean tables, I was treated very rudely by a staff member who shouted across the room at me, bringing attention to the fact I was travelling alone and was very grumpy at being asked to clear a table by the window for me (since the hotel’s USP is the amazing view of the river, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that guests want that view!) Two other couples arrived and had the same battle. It took three asks to get tea + cup + milk so I was very disappointed - the manager I spoke to did apologise and spoke to the staff member but a refund of breakfast would have been appreciated as the service was very disappointing. Spa was lovely and the members of staff in the lounge area were brilliant and even though they were training new people it was evident that they were being taught a high level of customer service. Reception was hit and miss - there was an issue where the hotels.com discount wasn’t communicated to the hotel but they handled this by refunding me the difference when I checked out. The lady I dealt with was not friendly or well trained to deal with issues and other staff members had to step in to help. Overall disappointing for somewhere with a reputation for high standards, the hotel itself is lovely and clean but the service lacking.

Beautiful spot and lovely service. There construction but the overall experience was amazing. Food is great and the spa services were a bargain.

This was our second stay here in a the space of a few months. The upgraded rooms are really nice. This stay was by far much better than last time. The breakfast was fantastic and the spa was really nice.

This place isn’t in central London but the surrounding area is beautiful. It’s right along the water and is great to go for a stroll and see the beautiful riverside properties. Also super close to Windsor. It’s only a $14 pound ride there with an Uber. I’d for sure stay here again. It’s also close to Heathrow which is nice if you have a a flight the next day! I’ll stay here again

Beautiful hotel and a lovely stay despite ongoing construction works. We stayed on a Friday night and were mostly unaffected - some areas of the hotel were clearly ready to be updated but the facilities we used were brilliant. Our room was a river view and the balcony was not yet ready to be used. The room itself was a standard size but the cleanliness is what made it a great stay. We really appreciated the robes and slippers for using the onsite pool and spa. We absolutely loved the outdoor pool, it’s a shame we couldn’t use it past checkout time on our departure day as it had closed when we checked in on the Fri early evening. The breakfast is a higher price but we felt it was good value for money with what was available. We hope to visit again and make the most of the grounds and local area. Breakfast staff were the friendliest staff members we met during our stay.

I would rather comment about the lounge staff … they are not observant … I say trying to attract attention for over 5 minutes… need a fresh drink and food … so I pay an over priced solution for a sub standard service … it’s indicative as to why the world thinks we are rubbish

A really beautiful hotel. Spotlessly clean. All staff are so lovely and professional. Spa is wonderful. My favourite hotel!!

What a great spot. Short drive from the airport and right in the river with an amazing walkway. Adults only so quit a few business meetings happening in the eclectic lobby, lots of seating from regular tables to sofas and chairs. Very clean and felt safe. I booked this while I was coming from the US not knowing what to expect and it was perfect. They are doing some remodeling so I assume it will be even better. Front desk was exceptional as well. Very helpful

We had an amazing stay. From the cocktails to the spa treatment everything was flawless. We especially loved the dinner at the restaurant. Shout out to SOLOMON who made the most delicious dinners for us. We will definitely be returning.

We have stayed on numerous times at the hotel and always been very pleased with everything, however this time firstly we weren't informed of the building work, even though the receptionist had rung us a few days prior to our stay, and spoke to myself, but never mentioned it, and to have work men right outside the bedroom window, banging and hammering wasn't pleasant. Then we did get a house keeper barge into the room without knocking, then she realised it was the wrong room entirely. The ladies cleaning the rooms were lovely. Breakfast was nice even though we did have to ask a couple of times for a pot of tea? We did highlight, our unfortunate let down of our stay, to the receptionist, who didn't seem to be bothered at all. Finally we asked for an invoice, but the printer wasn't working and was assured they would send it over by email?? but still awaiting for its arrival!!.... I would appreciate the invoice being forwarded please. Regards Mr G Moores
