We enjoyed the stay. Restaurant was very good. Pool looked like it had not been in service for a long time. No big deal for us. Lots of room to walk our fur baby. Nice location right on the river.

Good that it was pet friendly, but our rooms when we received them were unclean, we had to get new rooms. Also keys card to get access to rooms were half the time not working. Pool was ok, parking lot and around outside was sketchy. Would recommend for dog friendly, but that is it. Restaurant at hotel was horrible, son got sick from uncooked or bad food at dinner and breakfast was very bad, waited for 1 hour for 3 bagels…. Everything needs work.

Older property but clean and a great value .

there is a card on the nightstand touting that their rooms are green so they change towels and linens on every 3rd day if you are staying multiple nights. That would have been fine, but what they don't say is that your room will not be serviced at all for 3 days. They don't replenish the coffee, cups, or dump the trash. If you want your room serviced more frequently they ask that you contact the front desk - that was useless. They said they would have the room cleaned, I purposely stayed out of the room for 5 hours, and it wasn't touched. then they said that they are not allowed to enter the room until the 3rd day BS and to dump my trash in the cans in the vending area. The accessible room for mobility issues had the same floor space as a regular room - there was not enough room to turn a scooter around, also the door was heavy and could not be propped to stay open. The side door to the parking lot is automated to open as you approach, but does not detect obstruction before closing. 3 times it closed on my partner, scraping his leg badly enough that I took him to urgent care The rate quoted in my expedia booking was $1383.53. they charged my card $1587.25. they signed me up for choice membership saying i get a free stay after 10, but the Choice site says that my stay does not qualify. Choice Hotel? more like BAD CHOICE HOTEL

Perfect hotel for traveling to Toronto from New York. It is renovated and clean. Good family stay.

Good helpful staff and nice room for the money however the bathroom need some improvement work.

even though there are no smoking , my room had a lingering faint smoke smell in it . next the cards for the locks are very finicky i had to go and reset my card 3 times and i only stayed 1 day . The best way i found to deal with is gently push your card into a lock give a 1 , 1000 2 1000 count then slide the card back out slowly this worked most of the time. The shower was excellent

I called the day before to ask about feathers in the room as my son and I are both very allergic (we are talking stop breathing if accidently sleeping on feathers) and they said they were not sure but would check and remove any feathers from the room. When I checked in the woman behind the counter said she sees the info about checking for feathers, but no one did and they don't have that information. She did suggest that there is not one but two covers on the pillows so that would probably help if it was feathers. I let her know it would not. She said I can check when I get in the room but they do not have any other options. Something that should of been shared when I called if they could not accommodate us. The beds were very uncomfortable and a bug bit my ankle. Not a great stay but could always be worse. We did manage to stay alive for the night so that is a plus.

clean and quiet. the riverside of the building had a large flock of canada geese that added to the natural beauty of the area.

I've been coming to the hotel for quite some time and really didn't have no problem the rooms was clean until this one trip where I get ready to get in the bed and there's nothing but here and then when I call customer service they can explain to me why the bed is still dirty with hair and have to request for new sheets

The room was clean as far as beds and bathroom, but the carpet smelled of dog feces. I understand guest with pets get put in wing C to protect other guest, but if a room has been terribly soiled by a dog then it should be thoroughly cleaned or not used. Also, we were expected to park on the darkest side of the building to be near our room. The neighborhood is very scary. We couldn’t wait to leave as quickly as possible.

The card scanner to enter hotel seldom worked, had to get multiple copies. Room door does not properly close without slamming. Room A/C made loud clinking noises during cooling cycle. Bed is very firm. No free breakfast. Outside pool appears to have been closed for years, and no general maintenance performed. Hotel is not in a desirable location/neighborhood.

Convenient location for our travels. In house restaurant was good and fairly priced.

Front desk staff never made eye contact. Spoke to the computer, had to ask to repeat. Desk sent cleaning staff to room while I was still there. Room smelled like mildew
