Great stay! Clean, easy to book, nice workers!

Rather disappointed. First the fridge hadn't been emptied from the previous guest, then the air wouldnt lower from what seemed like a preset. Then lastly although not in our room but in the hall of the 5th floor was bedbugs which was reported to the front desk

Would never stay here again. Our room wreaked like marijuana when we checked in. The thermostat in our room didnt work so it was freezing. We did not have a tv remote for the bedroom tv. The shower floor was grimy with dirt and the freeway noise was very loud.
The front desk did offer to call maintenance about the thermostat, but they were off site it would have been after 8pm by the time they arrived. They offered us a different room, but it was not comparable to the one we had booked. We were told management would be contacted about a discount, but we had not heard anything back by the time we checked out.

My husband and I visited Tennessee for the first time. He booked a suite for my birthday. The term “suite” is not what we got. We walked into a mostly bare main room with a loveseat (covered in hair) and a table on one side. That is not a suite…that is extra space you called a suite to charge more.
The bedroom was separate. We were on the 2nd floor where the window overlooked the entrance to the lobby. There was a large group congregated right in the entrance way that was large and noisy! They were there for hours! The noise was over the top!
The beds are horrible! Old, squeaky, springs sticking out and uncomfortable!
We went back to the front desk and dealt with “JJ”. Horrible attitude with this one. Seemed completely put out when we were just checking in. When we wanted to move rooms she said there were no other suites. Basically…go pound sand.
We persisted and got a regular room on the 4th floor. We’re both Honors members but we’re still treated like crap. We have many more trips planned but will stay far away from this place. No one deserves to be treated so poorly. Management needs to do better.

Easy to get to as it’s right off 81. We had our dogs with us and there is a grassy area in the back for them to do their business. Our room and bathroom were clean, basic breakfast and coffee in the morning.

The Hampton in is very assessable to the interstate, clean, and staff was friendly. The breakfast was AMAZING! We will definitely be staying here anytime we are in the Bristol area!

We reserves a room in our hometown as we were having some interior painting done and because some friends were coming into town. So, we thought we would take the opportunity to have an evening out safely and could avoid paint fumes/mess. Our friends asked where we would recommend to stay and we said the Hampton Inn is always a good dependable choice. Once we arrived, we were informed that our stay would be refunded as the owner had chosen to NOT rent to locals. What?! The clerk stated that owners had a choice on whether to rent to locals and this owner had chosen not to do so due to 'issues with locals' in the last. We were stunned and confused. The clerk suggested that Fairfield Inn next door and stated that they 'would rent to locals'. We felt quite shocked and our friends were very disappointed that we would not be staying at the same location. We went to the Fairfield but it seemed less clean and attractive so we elected to go to exit 7 to the Courtyard by Marriott that establishment did not have issues renting to locals so we got a very nice (similarly priced) suite there. Our friends met us there and we went out to dinner and had a good time catching up. Just fyi, we are all educated professionals (surgeons, CPA and an RN. Guess we aren't perhaps the normal ''locals' to whom the Hampton Inn chooses not to rent. Disappointed in the Hampton In. For such an archaic and seemingly inane policy. Won't be recommending that location to our many friends and family who visit.

Every staff member we encountered was great and went above and beyond. The breakfast was delicious and the hotel was spotless. We have a group of 17 and we all had a great experience in all 6 rooms we had. If we come back to Bristol we will be staying here.
