Super amazing hotel. Right in the middle of city center. Next to public transportation and the rail line is right there. Staff is friendly and welcoming. It has a grand stair case that is well noticeable as you walk in. Highly recommend this hotel.

Fantastic venue. Convenient location: a very short walk from the train station and right in the city centre. Food and service in restaurant was excellent. This was our second stay here and will likely be back.

This is an older property with lots of charm. The room was large, comfortable and clean. I thought that it was going to be noisy because of the proximity to the train station but we never heard a train our entire stay. The on site restaurant was very good. We ate there several times during our stay. The lobby was gorgeous as pictured on the site.

It was good. The hotel is older but well maintained. The food at the Ash restaurant is very good. The hotel is well situated in Inverness, easy walking distance to the castle , cathedral and Ness walk.

Had a great stay, in a beautiful large room! Great service and friendly staff! We traveled with our dog and there was no issues. Inverness is a beautiful place to visit and bring your dog! Only low point was that sleep was interrupted from loud outside noise as we stayed on a Saturday night, before running the marathon, (could be helped with double glazing?) Continental breakfast was disappointing. Nevertheless really liked the hotel and would stay here again, but maybe with earplugs.

It’s right next to the train station, so you cannot find a more convenient hotel than this one. The facilities and amenities provided are adequate.

A beautiful historic hotel where we chose to stay after a journey on the Caledonian Sleeper as the entrance is a matter of yards from the station entrance. The staff were friendly, professional and knowledgeable if a question was asked of them. I was a little concerned that continental breakfast was standard, but it was extremely extensive with cereals, pastries, meats, fruits, various cofffes and tea from the two machines. There was a also a good selection for a number of allergies/intolerances without having to make a special request. It is worth noting that it is an independent hotel and not owned by any chain; this counts for a lot in my book. All-in-all an excellent experience and we will definitely stay again if we return to Inverness.

Rooms need to be updated. Floors need to be redone. Creek a lot. Service in the bar is slow. Breakfast quality is so so. Food in the restaurant was ok

No hot water in shower even next night after reporting. Dining wait staff didn’t have much knowledge of menu items

The property has a convenient location, but the room was disappointingly small and uncomfortably hot. The lobby stands out as the most appealing part of the hotel. Unfortunately, the receptionist was not very welcoming and offered no information about the local area. To top it off, we were charged more than our original booking price, which was both unexpected and frustrating.
