Pig with lipstick. I don't think the carpets are ever vacuumed. Each time we tried to get in the room we had to insert the card no less than 10/15 times.

This hotel has had its abs and flows. I’ve stayed here where everything was exceptional. Breakfast was great. Rooms were great. Service was great. Everything was clean.
I stay here a few times a year. This day service exceptional absolutely exceptional the AGM the GM front desk staff Housekeepers. Friendly, attentive, kind.
Let’s start with the room in my room on the second floor room 216. Both beds seem like a queen size had a dip in the middle at least 4 inches deep than what the rest of the bed is to me. It actually made it rather comfortable put two people on that bed. They’re both fallen into the center. The gym, no towels no cleaners no disinfectant wipes one of the two treadmills was broken a trashcan that had two dirty diapers and food disintegrating and has bugs. Far cry from Covid mandates back in the day. Once they fix these little things I think this is a great hotel. I really think this is a great hotel no resort fees out-of-the-way of the Myrtle Beach crowds. I really like it here, but they’ve been slacking a little bit for whatever reason I know they’ll bounce back from it not worried at all. I will stay here again.

We have 10 kids and only get away once a year for our anniversary. We arrived and were greeted by staff. They asked the purpose of our stay and we told them our anniversary. The first night we found out the bed squeaked horribly and it woke us during the night. Then ON our anniversary we were asked to vacate our room from 12-4 for them to repair the plumbing, which wasn’t fixed anyway. I won’t say our stay was ruined but I’m not sure we will revisit.

The staff was very nice and knowledgeable. I had an issue with the Internet since it was free Wi-Fi with no password I could not use the Internet for my laptop. The front desk gave me a phone number and said it was their IT I spent more than a 40 minutes on the phone with no good results. I had a two day stay but cut it to one cause I needed to go elsewhere that had Internet.

It was a meh experience. The only positives are the staff and how walkable is to everything around.
The room floors and shower tub were dirty and on Monday morning there was not hot breakfast when we went to get some food at 9:00 am. They only had waffles as hot breakfast.
Won’t stay there anymore.

The customer service was horrible, we were there three days never got new towels , had to go ask for some. Ran out of toilet paper had to go ask for some, trash was over flowing. When we asked about it we were told “they only clean every three days”

Black mold in the bathtub, along with an active leak in the ceiling from the room above. Bathroom doors didn’t fully shut (they were water warped). Couch had greasy, oily spots like from someone’s oily head. Market was barely stocked with anything.

It’s a good La Quinta. The staff I had experience with was very friendly and helpful! The Wandas! The rooms were clean and and comfortable enough.

Overall the check in was pleasant, the location of the hotel was convenient. My room was clean but can use a little updating as far as furniture. The restroom was clean with plenty of towels but the tub drain was slow. Overall if I had a chance to stay here again I honestly would.

The lobby of the hotel was very nice and the man at the counter was very friendly. However, as soon as I open the door to my room, it reeked of smoke and dirty pets. I called the front desk immediately and tried to get a different room, but the hotel was booked. He offered to come into the room and spray air freshener. I told him that would make things worse and just cover up the smell for a little bit. I have asthma so I didn’t need anymore smells in the room. He told me he would let me know if somebody checked out the next day and if not, he would discount the room. The towels and bed also smelled like smoke. My clothes also line up smelling. The last night I was there, I went to go turn off the light by the night stand, and apparently they knew the room stunk and had placed a car freshener there. When I checked out, all he did was take $50 off. I would not recommend nor will I ever stay at a La Quinta again.
