Made reservation months in advance. Didn't have my room ready for me. Reception was no where to found at first arrival. Traveled 3hrs with 3 month old and after a 15minute wait for someone to speak to, the lady was one of the rudest people I've ever had to deal with. Blaming it on the morning crew and couldn't care less about not having my original reservation. Just a terrible experience. I would never recommend this place to anyone and actually advised HOTEL.com to take them off of their site. This place is a dump and I'm actually glad I didn't stay. Thank you for being such an overall dump.

Where to start, requested microwave for my family and I twice, no luck. Had to request cookware, dinnerware. Smell in hallways and room is STUNNING & NOT in a good way. Bring HEAVY DUTY DEODORIZER & Bleach cleaner to clean EVERYTHING. A man sleeping DAILY in his truck parked in the parking lot. What inspired our early departure was not only visible signs of drug paraphernalia in the hallway but clear drug users at the property. The FINAL STRAW was the DRUG OVERDOSE of a gentleman who passed out on the asphalt next to my vehicle! NARCAN was requested by the gentleman's friends upon arrival of paramedics and police. This location should NOT be in the hotel category. Simply a NASTY place.

the hotel smelled of cigarettes and other things all through out the inside . the bath tub and shower had mold and we could not use it. the head boards on the bed were dirty and ripped. One of our mattresses was flipped upside down. we could not sleep because the smell of cigarettes was so strong. The paint around the window was peeling and moldy there was holes in the ceiling in the hall ways. We stayed there 2 nights and will never return.

We checked out 10 minutes after we checked in. The room was dirty and the sofa bed was horrible (dirty and brokken). We spoke to the guy at the front desk, he was nice, but couldn’t do anything for us.

I want a refund, my room had roaches. The entire first floor smelled like dog feces and marijuana. This is by the nastiest place I have ever stayed in my life. It is a travesty that this is even an option on Expedia

The entire hotel smelled like cigarettes and moldy leftovers. We took our luggage with us each time we left the property, so our clean clothes wouldn't smell like smoke each day.

It was kind of mixed. Staff were nice, but there was food left in the fridge and the bathtub was questionable. It felt gritty under my feet and squealed when I stepped into it. It also took a good eight minutes for the water to warm up for the shower. Some of the lights working because the lightbulbs were loose. I also had a roach run across the floor at one point. Generally, it did look clean and nothing else was particularly worn out.

The location is what drew us to stay at the location. But the rooms left a lot to be desired. The tub in the bathroom needed some work, the towels weren't that great. Not to sound picky but why isn't the sink in front of the mirror...hard to clean and not be able to see what you're doing??? The bed was pretty good, had to ask for an extra pillow. The light switches didn't work to turn on light above stove and the island. Not as inviting as the posters in the elevators make it look.

The location is what drew us to stay at the location. But the rooms left a lot to be desired. The tub in the bathroom needed some work, the towels weren't that great. I would not recommend staying at this property. It was filthy and I felt unsafe. I checked out early as I did not want to endure the conditions of my room.

While the hotel clearly hasn't seen many updates in years, the need for us was low cost and close location to Newark (12 min from UD campus). The halls on the 3rd floor are dark. Cigarette smell in the lobby sometimes (and pnce during the night which woke me up; probably someone smoking on the hallway). The handicapp door open buttons didnt always work. The facility does have some long term residents, but there we no problems to my knowledge thus i felt fairly comfortable safety-wise. While they do offerr coffe and limited snacks in the morning, i didn't try them so cant give an opinion. The lobby is small. Theres a small nook for sitting but not really conducive for relaxing. Staff were pleasant. Room looked clean. Was not noisey. All in all this location got the job done for us, but isnt where I'd choose to stay if money was no object.
