I got a room at the Red Lion in Kent Washington I need a pet friendly room and I needed a big jettd tub room and I needed a king size bed..
I Check-in early paying $50 for early checkin. I was told that my jetta tub room was on the 3rd floor and they did not allow pets on the 3rd floor at because people with allergies they keep that floor clean for that reason they didn't have any pet friendly rooms at any of the other floors the only pet film rooms they had was on the 3rd floor and they cost 30 bucks deposit for Maybe shouted that there was no pencil out on the 3rd floor due to allergies and that's a pet free floor and they didnt stand by the word end up doubling the $30 normal pet fee to $60 bucks. I talked them down to $40 bucks so they were willing to bend the rules of no pets on any 3rd floor jetted tub room they adrertize them as pet free smoke free roomsafter I payed the $40. For a room that is suposedly pet free and smoke free. I decided not to bring my dog into the hotel because I didnt like the idea of someone being lied to and told its a pet free room when infact I was just given the
Option to pay more than the standard pet fee. I never brought my Dog in the hotel . When I asked for my deposit back in the morning at checkout time. I asked for my $40back due to my dog never stepped foot in the hotel because I didnt like being part of misrepresentation of anything when it could cause someone harm or allergies..

This was not a good stay. When I walked into the room, it seemed like somebody had just left. All the lights were on the window was open and there was tissue in the toilet , not flushed. And the sink had hair in it.

Well no one was respectful and welcoming when i arrived and checked in and my room was not the room i asked for and we checked out on the 9th at 8:30 am and they never refunded me the money back for the second night that i payed for and my deposit and i got a notification that i was checked out on the 10th when we were never there so ueah i am not very happy

Property is right next to a railroad and a train went by every two hours and blew its horn at the crossing. Desk clerk lied to me and told me that $100 security deposit would be refunded upon checkout then, the next morning the same clerk told me it takes two days to be refunded.

The hotel is between a freeway and a train track, so it doesn't stand much of a chance of being quiet. The hotel was dirty, dingy, beat up with stained carpet. The staff was indifferent.

Well, the first night we were there.The elevator broke down.They gave me a third floor floor i've got two bad knees and then they moved us down into the room that I requested in the first place on the first floor woke up that morning and it had water leaks all over the place I would never stay at that motel again and I recommend nobody else

Hotel was empty and tried to check in at 2 pm and for one hour early check in they tried charging me 40 on a 80 nasty room..drug deals are allowed in the parking lot …definitely would never recommend this place

The room wasnt bad, but we booked for the hot tub that was closed for service and when we got to breakfast there was nothing left and they didint bother to get us anything more. So the service was poor.

No instructions were given to find our room, the beds were on a metal platflorm or surrounded with metal do each time you sat on the bed or got up you heard it. There was a concert in town so we were kept up late with drunks in the hall and them playing loud music (not the hotels fault, but they could use a little better sound proofing). The continental breakfast was not a continental breakfast; it consisted of ceral or waffles. The only plus side was the hotel was super easy to locate, being right off the highway and the room was fairly large. For a Red Lion, this hotel was a huge disappointment.

So many stains everywhere ! Jacuzzi had bug nearby that looked like a roach ! Public pool looked grean, honestly would not recommend

I wasn’t made aware of the $100 deposit upon checking in, I had to pay for my night stay at this hotel. It wasn’t really a big deal because it comes back the next day, but I was on a really tight budget for my finances. I wished I could have been made aware of that when I booked the room.
Besides all that upon arrival, the hotel was quite amazing and clean. I wish the room had more decor to make it look less plain. I enjoyed the price ranges this hotel offers. It’s much cheaper compared to the other hotels in the area.

When checking in, I was wondering why the front desk made a call asking if the room I reserved had been cleaned, I didn't think nothing of it, I got to the room, it looked nothing like advertised, the toilet was dirty like someone just took a dump and flushed it, there was poop marks in the toilet to start with, the cobwebs and spider webs on the windows didn't make it feel any cleaner, nothing matched in the room, it was supposed to be a Jacuzzi suite, it had a Jacuzzi,but same thing, dirty and moldy,looks like it wasn't cleaned in a year, 2 different remotes to watch TV, that was so frustrating trying to figure out what remote turned the TV up or down, from the time walking into the hotel, it stunk, the lobby stunk, the elevator stunk, the hallways stunk and our room just stunk, sorry I would definitely stay away, I thought I was getting a great last minute deal taking my girlfriend out, we tried to stay out as long as possible so we didn't have to go back haha, we werw thinking about staying in the car, which reminds me, we couldn't do that because of all the street working women that were making, what seemed to be a very good living haha, we probably wouldve gotten pimped out if caught outside too long. If you like it real dirty stay here, you can find a date anytime of the day, it'll cost you $10, if not, don't be fooled by the nice photos online, it's a joke

The new owners have gone to great lengths to upgrade and renew this property. My husband and I stay here for a staycation every couple months and are pleased with the way it has improved.

The surrounding property looked a bit run down and felt unsafe. Hotel is right next to the train tracks which runs every few hours, and even had at least one train at night. I doubt I would stay there again.

The front desk asked me to provide proof of my service dogs status, the were holes in the bed spread, no bulbs in the lamps in the room, the breakfast station was dirty, unkept. There was
No coffee, coffee cups, or utensils. They ran out of bread (the front desk staff took the last 2 pieces of bread to make toast for herself. The cereal was stale and the tables in the lobby was dirty, dusty and sticky. The room security latch was broken as was the window screen.
