Business trip for my husband to stay somewhere for work. We were quoted one price day before the upped next day over 100. Not what we expected. Husband would of been there up to 6 months paying two weeks in advance. Not what showed on site for rates. Not pleased at all.

Property was clean. Breakfast was simple prepackaged small muffins and fruit nutrigrain bars. They had oatmeal packets and hot water. When I looked in my hot water cup there was flecks of dirt floating in the water. Clearly the dispenser was dirty!

Receptionist was nice but check in process took over 30 min and she kept having to call manager over the phone with questions. We reserved 3 double rooms and she only had 1 double and 2 singles. After much back and forth she managed to give us 2 doubles and 1 single. The manager would not give us a discount on the single room even though we were inconvenienced to have a different room from what we reserved. She said we should be happy because 4 people with reservations will not even get a room! The rooms were old, dirty, & 2 rooms smelled so horrible that we had to sleep with the windows open to air it out. The air conditioner did not work, the deadbolt did not work, the toilet was clogged. It appeared that the room had not been cleaned in weeks. I am extremely disappointed and disgusted by this hotel. I would not recommend this hotel.

The room was for one night, we stayed for a local track meet. Front desk service was good. The elevator floor needed to be fixed. Room was clean, the kitchenettes fridge looked old. There really wasn’t a breakfast area just a corner table with grab items and coffee to over. We ended up going and getting breakfast. The overall sleep was good. No noise from outside the room. The pillows were flat but, mattress was comfortable. The TV was a little dated and small. Overall, the staff was friendly. Pets are allowed at the hotel, when coming in the lobby that night, one lady had two large dogs and the lobby smelled horrible.

Credit where credit is due: my reservation booked with hotels.com approximately 1 year in advance for the 2024 eclipse was honored. Perhaps it helps that I prepaid. The room had an odor of cigarette smoke, but given the shortage of rooms due to the eclipse we did not complain or ask for a new room. The bed was probably a double (not the queen that I booked) and the mattress was old. The shower was weak and didn't get very hot. The room was clean though. When we asked for dishware at the desk it was provided. The staff was friendly. We used the laundry facilities and they functioned well (including accepting credit cards, which is great).

The floor was pretty dirty, but the rest of the place was fairly clean. The grab and go breakfast Was muffins and granola bars. The coffee was a bit of an issue and was not replenished regularly. It was a good overall stay and met our needs. In a pinch, I would definitely recommend this place.

The Waco/Woodway Extended Stay is a hotel that is showing its age. It is super conveniently located. The price is good for a budget-conscious traveler. the front desk staff are friendly but maybe not very safety aware.

This hotel is a good choice for a less expensive hotel. I want to comment the staff. They were very friendly, greeted me by name and were quick to respond to any needs I had. The customer service at this location is top notch.

My room was clean but I was awoken twice during the night by people banging on doors down the hall.
