The remodeled rooms were nice. Fridge , microwave, very cool modern shower , close to restaurants and stores.

Noisy, all sounds echoed and resonated making overall stay extremely noisy, poor mattress quality, no sound dampening in room.

The bed was clean, floors were dirty, especially the bathroom, was really dirty. Enough towels but they didn't seems super clean. No tissues. Nowhere to set anything on in bathroom. Shower has no wall to stop water from going on floor up to sink floor. If you just want a place to sleep for the night and you're not worried too much about anything else, it's a good place to stay for price.

This is a cheap motel. That said, the staff members were excellent, the room was cleaning and pleasing—not ugly or depressing at all! The area was a little basic but across the street was a sweet coffee shop. I will stay here again.

The bed was quite mushy and the room had a strong smell of cleaning solvent which didn't diminish over our two-day stay. Despite these quibbles, I think this is the best motel deal in Arcata. I think others complaining in reviews need to get some perspective. No one staying at a Motel 6 should expect Hilton quality lol. We've stayed here several times - this place is fine.

Room smelled like cigarette smoke, with pot smell added in from our neighbors. Pool was dirty, area looks generally neglected. Despite all that, probably still the best option in the area for someone with dogs. Would be better if the potty area was mildly maintained to prevent thorny weeds. The individual that checked is in was pleasant and helpful.

Place was dirty. Lots of homeless across the street. No parking so we had to park on the streets. Staff was snobby. Would never go back.

The room is a little small and the toilet is not for adults o the shower has no grip and no handles

Super friendly staff, very clean and tidy room, and convenient location (close to grocery stores, restaurants, etc). The area in general has lots of homeless people. However, I think that this is a problem of the Eureka-Arcata region. Despite that, I felt very safe at all times

When we arrived, a few homeless people were strolling through the area. The room had a weird smell to it, although it was clean. Had to vent via the door for over an hour. Vending machines next to the room were very loud and being used a lot during the night.
