Great rooms, good facilities including plenty of parking. The food is good and the staff are friendly.

The bar was far too overpriced with £7.00 the standard rate for a pint.
The air con wasn’t working. When I let the reception know it was just brushed off.
The shower over the bath was poor in terms of pressure and temperature. Again, was brushed off on checkout.
For £139.00 PN and that figure being without breakfast, I expected a lot more from the hotel.

The Staff were cheerful and friendly.
The options for GF at breakfast were excellent and they prepared the choice for dinner separately from other meals.

limited dining and it is in the middle of a business estate - they do not have complimentary water. All the Marriott’s and other 4 star and above usually have a complimentary bottle or two, I ordered from reception…which I paid for. Not bothered about what it cost (£3 for a can), just surprised…

Very pleasant stay. We checked in late (approx 11pm) )and the staff at reception and bar were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The only downside was WiFi not working

There is air con in the rooms - but it isn’t very effective - and coupled with the huge duvets - made for an uncomfortable night in the current hot weather. Windows do not open and the room was very stuffy and hot even with the aircon on its lowest setting.
Sink was blocked and slow draining which we reported at the end of the stay so that it could be fixed.

The air conditioner wasnt working and we had made a complaint and i went down to reception to inform them this wasn’t working and they said someone will look into it however this was forgotten about. I did this on two occasions and both times my request was ignored! This was so frustrating as the staff just didnt seem too bothered and their attention seemed diverted.
The two nights were very uncomfortable as it was hot and stuffy without the air conditioner. We paid to experience a bad service by the seems of it. They didnt even offer to change the room as an alternative.
We requested for a hair dryer however no one came with one which was very upsetting. I had a wedding to go to and couldnt dry my hair without a hair dryer. I had to leave with my hair wet and attend the wedding like that as i was tight for time. Which was very embarrassing but how many times does one ask! I thought Marriotts had a great reputation.
The bed was very uncomfortable. We have been experiencing neck pains but i just didnt see any point in complaining as i felt unheard.
I had also written to Expedia and had no reply within the time frame they had stated.
