There was great shopping nearby, but it was about 1km away, and a map is needed. I would suggest using the e-bikes, traffic is usually congested, and the streets will send you in circles. The staff is great, the hotel is in excellent condition. If you stay long, buy the breakfast daily instead of everyday. Its good, but its nice to have options. You have to request room service ice, which is free, and the room service menu is not high priced. You cannot get a bottle or wine opener from the hotel, but don't pack one in your carry on bag either. lol! The TV menu was limited. Some good new movies, not rotated well. Some very old "news" stories for some reason. BBC news and Al-Jezeera were the only international live channels (sky news does not count, lol) I developed a fondness for CNBC somehow. Overall, it was a fine stay that could have been a little better.

I ordered a Cake and Flower via Hotel service, but it surprised me that they only brought the cake and flowers to our room without a room service trolley and tableware. These are the only things I feel weird about the service. Other than that, anything is fine and comfortable!

I got the room facing a vacant & tall building which is blocking the view and a bit creepy at night, I had to keep my curtain covering the window all the time. No hot water due to regular maintenance for the first midnight i stayed in, the staff didnt brief me during checkin. Nearly 15 mins walk to key touristy spot.

The hotel was excellent, clean and well maintained. The staff were very helpful and tried their best to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The food was delicious and had a large variety. A special mention to Aslina who was excellent and really made a difference to our experience. Will definitely be retuning to the EQ!

Amazing hotel with great staff and service. Nothing was too much trouble, and always helpful. Room was massive, and bathroom was big and spacious with both shower and a bath tub. Good range of in-house restaurants, bars and coffee shops. When we first turned up hot and sweaty they provided cooling towels and a refreshing drink. Good gym, which my wife used. A little bit of a walk to the Metro station, but not too far. V close to 'Helimed' bar - across the road on top of a skyscraper (34th floor). Must do.... Great views of Petronas and KL towers from everywhere - room, bars and rooftop restaurant. Great choice.

Location of the hotel was great, walking distance to Petronas Towers, KLCC Park and main shopping centers. Food was disappointing very average for a 5 star hotel, access to Sky51 even after booking a table was not guaranteed however view was amazing. Pool area would have benefitted from bar/outside service area as there is nowhere to have a drink and snack outside during the day time and additional sunbeds.
