Great stay as always. Our room this time was a little awkward having tight quarters with the bathroom very close to the bed with double doors which was a little different. Shower was very nice. It was a comfirtable bed. Quiet as always. Love the provided robes. Pool and hot tub were both enjoyable. Very clean facilities. Had a drink in the bar which was good. A great night stay! Front desk was friendly and helpful.

We like the Julien, but we’re disappointed that the shower was lukewarm and the coffee was not replenished after the first day. For the rates they charge, these little things are important and should not be neglected!

Very nice, quiet hotel. The hotel resturant has limited hours even on a Friday evening. Same hotel resturant had very slow service for breakfast. Not the waitresses fault, she was waiting on half of the resturant by herself. Must be a staffing issue?

We have stayed at this Hotel in the past - we enjoy coming here for the history, accommodations, comfort, service of the hotel. Our only concern is the hvac system in the rooms, my wife and I like to sleep with some fan noise and cooler temperatures. I went to battle with the thermostat that kept turning on/off the system at its own will/ needless to say we buckled and picked up a fan for the room for comfort. I am hoping that management will take action about our concern, we mentioned this experience at check out. We did find out they had fans to lend out as well- good to hear. We will stay at the hotel Julian again, just hoping they can iron out this concern.

We made reservations for the Sunday brunch, which was part of the experience for us. It was extremely disappointing. We met our daughter and waited over 20 minutes before she got up and asked if we were going to get a server. Although servers were standing about 10 feet away from us visiting. I tried to Buy a bottle of champagne, but it took several people to figure out if it was even possible. The buffet itself was very disappointing. It was advertised as an omelette station, and there was nothing close to an omelette station there a pan of scrambled eggs. Few things to choose from and they advertise a carving station where there was a small piece of pork with nobody ever there to carve it. They were happy to take our hundred dollars plus for the check but just said that there was a kitchen problem. The kitchen wasn’t responsible for getting us a glass of water after having waited for over 20 minutes. Very disappointing.

Lovely old property. Good parking and restaurant onsite. Closes early but nice menu and staff. Kathy was amazing and so kind and offered lots of advice.

Uniquely historic and very well kept hotel. Large, comfortable room. All excellent. Only negative: waiting time for croissant and pancake in the morning at their Caroline restaurant was unbearable: we simply had to give up as we needed to depart.

Staff was very nice. Decor in lounge areas was super nice. Room was nice, sheets and towels were amazing but mattresses were not very comfortable. The rooms were hot and wish the fan would run continuously, could not get room cool enough. And need more parking, was very challenging to get close parking.

Nice decor and nice location. Everything else was mediocre at best. One lamp didn’t work, a couple outlets did not work, no microwave in room, no soda machines, no vending machines for late night munchies. I chose the express check out process from my room, front desk clerk seemed annoyed, informed her about lamp and outlets not working. Front desk clerk seemed more annoyed when I mentioned that. I’ll be staying at holiday inn next time

not really friendly front desk, requested room clean service which didn't come. old hotel needs modern updates, the elevator small, no desk just stand in the standard room so no any work can be done, small tv kids didn't enjoy much. not sure I would recommend for the family stay.
