Amazing place to stay in Holbox. This property has beach access, and the beach is just wonderful! Lovely white sand and calm turquoise water. It’s not so close to the main dining area, but it’s peaceful and totally worth it if you want a relaxing getaway

The Good - Beautiful Rooftop and Great Breakfast
The Bad (So Much) - At check-in we were told our child that was 19 would add $150 USD to our 3 night stay. We didn't receive a different room. Same room Higher unexpected price.
Our safe stopped working twice and we had to have it manually opened by staff.
Check out was even worse than check in. We were told a taxi would be reserved for us and arrive at 5:30am so we could make our ferry and flight. No taxi and no one in the reception. Had to walk around the property for 20 minutes before I found a worker to call us a taxi and we almost missed our boat home.
When we get to the airport we get a message from the reception anticipating an apology but they just needed our exp date for our cc so they could charge us more.
Honestly, for the adjusted up price there are better places to stay.

They give a premium room on ground floor, it was really loud because behind the was the electricity generator. With this room we didn't get any natural light inside because the room is always in the shadows.
Also something really bad was that you have no possibility to have a decent breakfast, there is only one option and you can decide only which kind of eggs you want, and if you stay there one week, you are going to eat always the same.

Really nice stay - staff was awesome, the bed was so comfortable and our room was spotless - great stay - about a 15 mins walk into town so if you wanted food outside what was available at the hotel that was the only downside. Definitely recommend.

Perfect hotel in a perfect place, calmer that in the center. The beach was cleaned and perfect to spend the day.

The staff was great except they continued to say the shower water was warm, it was very cold.
The location was farther from the town of Holbox than it looked on maps or was explained on websites. It is a great area to walk to beach but again a little farther out.
I would stay here again in the summer when the coll (cold) water would not be a factor.

We had a great 2 night stay. About 15 minute walk into town. The room was very clean and modern. The plumbing issues were addressed right away. Good price for this cute boutique!

I booked the suite. It had a beautiful view but I probably would’ve liked the standard room better and saved some money! I don’t think the suite was worth the price. The rooftop pool was really nice. And they played music in the afternoon and throughout the day. It’s about a 25 minute walk down the beach to get to the downtown area where everything is at.

I really enjoyed my stay at Spirit. Jose Sanchez at the reception desk was super friendly and helpful. The girl that works there was also wonderful! All of the staff were very attentive and always cleaning. I would stay here again.

This is an overpriced hotel, rooms are to small, also the social areas, the hotel is far from the downtown you have to take a taxi to go to the touristic parts. They don’t have a cancellation policy also they are not beachfront, they have a few beach beds and that’s all.

The price of this hotel is FAR FAR above its standings… this is not a luxury hotel. Plenty of better hotels for the same price around the island

We had a fabulous second stay at Spirit Holbox. Our oom was kept super clean. We enjoyed breakfasts and beautiful sunsets each day on the rooftop deck. And we enjoyed spectacular 360 degree water views from upper rooftop deck. Staff was friendly and helpful, especially the times we locked ourselves out of the room on our balcony. A great stay, we hope to come again!

Standard room is small. No TV or fridge but with such views you don't really need a TV. Besides that it was a really neat compact room with the major necessities. The food at the restaurant is good but a little pricier compared to everyone else

The stay was okay. Perhaps I had a whole different idea about Holbox overal, but way far out place and also I wish the hotel was closer to the dowtown area.
Some rooms are better maintained than others (we stayed in 2 different ones). This is one of those than looks way better in the pictures. Service was nice, food menu very limited and not impresive at all, best to go food.
Very unhappy this hotel hat a non cancellation policy... we need it to make a small modification and tok us a couple weeks before the trip to get it sort it out.
