Cute, clean and friendly. Great location, walking distance to Nevada City, but very quiet. Loved the outside sitting area with a water feature. I would stay here again.

Very nice place have been staying here for years. Having a little dust pan and broom in the room would be a nice addition . Lots of sand.

I was for a place about an hour away to hunker down and get some work done. The place is really cute, has a nostalgic cabin feel and walking distance to old town Nevada City. I stayed in the Winter room which had the cutest little kitchen. Oh and its dog friendly with special towels, treats, poop bags and bowls for them. Wifi wasn't that strong but I bet not a lot of people go there to do work. Ha! I would go again but not to do work.

This place was so cute! We had a queen in the main room and a twin in the alcove.
My 13 year loved the alcove.
The room was so adorable and so was the Inn.

Awesome little motel run by a very kind and welcoming couple- very clean and tidy- we had a great stay- our room was on small side but perfect for us. Nice picnic/park area in middle of the grounds with beautiful gardens.Would highly recommend.

Nice peaceful and comfortable stay in Nevada City. We enjoyed the location and walking from the hotel to downtown Nevada city several times during our weekend.

The kitchen it was stocked with some basic utensils and the 2 burner stove worked great to cook a little breakfast. Great location because it's only a 7 minute drive to either Nevada City Fairgrounds or downtown Grass Valley city. However downtown Nevada City is within walking distance of the motel. Go straight down Pine Street about 1 mile. But if you drive remember to bring quarters for the parking meters. Parking meters are free on Sundays.

The owner of the property was so friendly and welcoming. She gave us plenty of pointers for shopping/food/hiking to make the most out of our time there. Pet friendly, the owner even provides a food bowl and treats for the furry friends! Definitely worth a visit!

Cute little place, very convenient to downtown, darling neighborhood. Stayed in the River Room is was okay. A little musty smell. Hosts were very nice but I was told I would get a text with my code when check in was available to access the door...I did not, had to go to the front desk. I asked at check out for a receipt and was told I would get an email, two days later still have not :-( Sent a text, will call next.

Love the themed rooms. We stayed in the wildflower room. Cute as can be!
My only recommendation would be to upgrade/improve the bed pillows

The room had a non-functioning refrigerator and they cheerfully gave me a pleasant upgraded room, #3.
Side note, room 3 1/2 is quite small with twin beds, but nicely done.

We love the location and charm of this classic motel. The folks who run it are lovely people, too! Plus, it's very pet friendly. Our room came with a dog bowl, towel, biscuits and doggie bags, and there is a nice lawn in the center of the court. This was our second stay here, and we'll definitely stay there again!
