Location and price. Large, spacious room. surprise of fruit, muffins, granola bars and coffee in office.

Our room smelled bad. Carpet was damp, but not clean (turned my bare feet dark—eeew) Found stuff under bed from previous guests— including used tissue— EEEEEWW! Scratchy sheets and lumpy pillows.

The location is very convenient

This is my 4th stay at The Northern Queen. I continue to stay there because their chalets are large enough for my family and are pet friendly.

Since I've been there multiple times, I was already aware that the place is not very clean. I brought my own cleaner and disinfected the chalet. I wish I had brought a vacuum because there were old but shells all over the floor. On our second day, we had to buy blankets since there was only one thin blanket on the bed. The biggest issue was in the kitchen. The refrigerator door was broken so the food I stored did not stay very cold. The coffee machine was missing a pot and the inside was full of mold. I scrubbed it with bleach.... When cooking, I was thankful to have brought my own pan and paper plates because the dishes in the cabinets were covered in oil and old food. I will most likely stay there again because of the location and ability to bring my dog, but my family considers it just a step above camping... Very dirty....

Television remote did not work correctly. Toilet was very small and shallow ... more of a child size than made for adults.

Toilet should have been sized for normal adults.

Pleasant condo, we wished it would have cooking pans and dishes since it had a stove and oven.

Customer service was amazing

The room was filthy, the floors had not been swept or mopped, the carpet was sticky, and the couch had pizza crust, hot dog, food dirt, etc., under the cushion and behind the couch. the toilet rock back and forth. All the rooms under me and next to me were boarded up. It seems that some folks actually live here and not just travelers.

Great location, near downtown but not right on it

Needs some serious attention and care. Furniture was well past its end of life and cleanliness and attention to detail was sorely lacking
