Needed to sleep for a night in Svendborg, parking options does not seem very secure.
Breakfast was rather simple, room seemed a bit worn down as did the hotel in general.

Was apparently a Best Western prior to this (still listed as Best Western on apple maps). It felt like a Best Western kind of room. Laminate floors, there was actually no artwork in our room, dated bathroom, no air conditioning (which is maybe typical here?), not particularly nice but totally fine - felt like a mid-level hotel that had been painted and given a nice entrance. Black out blind was a pull down roller blind over a window, not typical hotel black out curtains - that kind of thing. Service was great - hats off to the front desk team, the restaurant team, super helpful and friendly. Food was very expensive for what it was. It felt a bit like we were paying Hotel Scandic prices for Best Western kind of holiday. Which is maybe fine? Awesome location - quiet, walkable to the shopping areas, historic areas, water, easy parking. Loved all that.

Best western hotel not written anywhere at arrival. Good location indeed. Close to the sea and shopping street.
Cinema is next to the hotel which means a lot of sounds when people walks out from cinema at night.
Breakfast was delicious, organic food and served local products. Very impressive.

Hotel was modern, centrally located and the family room was large, spacious and quiet. It was busy with a large amount if guests but assume this was due to high season and Covid-19 travel restrictions. Breakfast was a buffet with a large selection of items. My only complaint would be the breakfast layout, as it was so busy you had to wander around alot to find a table which from our experience tended to be at the front of the hotel which could could be up to 40m away from where you were sat and you had to make several trips as they had no trays.

Clean hotel and good service, however room was a little outdated and pricey compared to Hotel is in Svendborg. Did expect more.
Location is good, but please be aware there can be issues with parking as not many spaces.

The staff was wonderful, even the Hotel Director spent a great amount of time chatting with us to be sure all was good. The food is excellent, Breakfast and Dinner both. Highly recommend this hotel.
