Stayed here the night before Thanksgiving to catch up with friends before heading to the family.
The location of the hotel is great! Right in the heart of midtown - able to walk to restaurants, bars / clubs, etc.
The hotel itself is super cute! The front desk team was very nice.
The room was also super nice. Spacious. Nice shower. Well decorated. We were only there for a night, but I would have felt comfortable staying for a few nights (and kinda wish we did!)
Parking was easy. It was a holiday night, so we parked literally across the street for free (it has meters but they were turned off because of the holiday).
The price was budget friendly and reasonable.
We will definitely be staying here again when we come back!!!

Oh man oh man what can I say. From the very beginning it was ABSOLUTELY amazing!!!!!! I loved how friendly ALL the staff were and even loved my interaction with valet. They made it so easy to house my car and retrieve it. All friendly and full of wonderful smiles. I thoroughly enjoyed exploring the building and looking at ALL the pictures filled with history. The room!!! What can I say but it exceeded my expectations all the way around. I had a wonderful view of our downtown skyline!! Loved the location and loved my walks. With this being our first time ever in such a wonderful place, Both me and my husband can’t wait to plan another stay with them!!!! I was totally in awe and couldn’t stop smiling. Thank you Hyatt House for such a wonderful experience.

Parking situation not acceptable. $40 dollar valet fee for parking yourself and them having to walk three blocks back. Then had to walk three blocks there in the morning to get it. I have a 1/2 ton Chevy pickup. Should not be considered oversize. Management did take off the valet fee, which I appreciate but will not be staying there again unless they change their parking situation/policy.

Beautiful hotel with a great restaurant upstairs and very close to downtown festivities. My only complaint is not having parking access on the grounds, we had to pay $40.00 a day for parking which is ridiculous bc the hotel is not cheap. Parking should be included in every hotel stay.

Love the building's history. The heavy, gliding bathroom door needs a handle on both sides to make it easier to close and open.

What a great place! A hidden gem to say the least. It was a beautiful room and very clean. The hotel is beautiful also.

Beautiful historical building! I felt safe and cozy! The room we got had access to the balcony with a gorgeous view. Overall the room was nice and comfortable. My favorite part is when you first walk into the hotel! The staircases inside are beautiful. The Star Lounge was a gem. Excellent bartenders and great atmosphere. Really enjoyed the breakfast too. I will definitely be booking again! The only negative thing I can say would be the parking. To me though, it’s not that big of a deal since it is midtown. Street parking is not an issue, just be sure to pay attention to the signs so you won’t get ticketed or leave any valuables in the car.

Place is cool it’s modern and historic blended together making it a great experience. Lots of things to do and see just a short walk I’ve lived I. Sacramento my whole life and this place is at the top of my list for places I’ve stayed at.

A very comfortable and relaxed hotel across from Sutter's Fort. The staff are pleasant and friendly and the Star Lounge was hopping. Highly recommend.

The hotel was clean and the room was clean and had nice bedding and a kitchen. Most of the staff including front desk, dinning and valets. My only issue was there is only street parking or valet($40) and the bar staff were very rude especially when you are a guest in the hotel. We asked for drinks to go back to our room since we were tired. Immediately met with attitude and rude body language which is very unprofessional. Just because of this we probably wouldn’t stay here again because

I love staying here when visiting my son who lives a few blocks away in midtown. The rooms are quiet, breakfast is good and happy hour is excellent. I love the restaurant area! So chic! The only negative thing I can think of is the steep $40/day parking fee. Do frequent guests get a discount?

the area of the hotel was not good, it was very loud at night with people playing music till very late hours of 3-5 am. the parking was also an issue as they only offered valet parking for $40 per day but there is no parking lot in sight of where they would have the car. street parking is also not too good.

The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars across the board is because there was a giant block party/rave with really loud music until 11 right outside the hotel one night we were there. Totally not the hotel's fault at all, but that area is busy so keep that in mind if you plan on staying. 100% would recommend and definitely plan on staying there again.
