When we checked in the guy at the desk was very friendly. He advised us if we didn’t want maid service to place the do not disturb tag on our door. We did that but they still came in and made the beds. So that was a little concerning on why they still let themselves in to our room even though it said do not disturb. What if we were sleeping

Friendly staff and quiet time to relax.

For the price this is a very nice place to stay. The staff are nice and friendly. The place is very clean and I feel comfortable staying here. The knock would be it is away from downtown area of the dells but you can't beat the price/quality. I will stay again.

I was very happy with this hotel selection for our Della trip. On first glance the hotel rooms are a bit dated, but they are spotlessly clean and the hotel very safe and friendly, full of family groups. The 3 pools were an ideal spot for my kid in the evenings after dinner and she loved them. Location was super convenient.

This was a perfect place for a family getaway! The kiddos loved both the indoor pool and the outdoor pool. We will definitely be back again!

Wouldn't let us do a late checkout, took 25 minutes to check in with no line, toilet clogged off of just "pee" we plunged it ourself, counter tops/phone weren't wiped down and had smeared stuff all over it.

This is a review no one ever wants to hear but this is the truth. If you are going to sleep here, make sure you go on the actual Wingate Hotel website and read all their policies. Dont go off of Expedia room amenities. The reasoning is, I DID NOT GET TO SLEEP HERE. At the hotel checking in, they tell me, there will be a pet fee of $50 per pet, per night. I was fine with that. And then the next thing was, a pet weight limit of 40 lbs and under. One of my dogs was well over 40 lbs. I contacted expedia trying to get a refund cause of all of this. They told me, to get the refund, its up to the Hotel. While i was there, at the front desk. I am watching the front desk person named Anna, which supposedly is manager and 2 other people NOT pick up the phone to talk to Expedia. Expedia then messege me telling them to pick up the phone. I watched them not pick up the phone and watched them walking to the back acting as they didnt hear the phone. I then told them to pick up the phone and asked them why didnt they pick up the phone. She told me and lied to my face saying they picked up the phone. While that was happening, Expedia said to me that there was nothing they can do unless if the hotel agrees to refund. It was so sketchy that the front desk people kept going back and forth. In and out at the front desk to the back of the room behind the front desk. I then left and last min booked at the Motel 6. Went back to get the wristbands and thats how my experience went. MyFirstExpediaStay

Hotel was very clean and staff was very friendly. It is in a great part of the Dells and convenient to a lot. If I had to be picky I would say mix up your breakfast with either more options or different options at least ever other day. It was good but we stayed for 5 nights and it was the same each day.

I paid extra for a “suite” but all that meant was they shoved a couch in to the small room. The pool is about a third of the size it looks like in the photos. They use the pool to declare their self a resort and to charge that extra fee. The toiletries were subpar. The stains on the carpet and scratches in the door were presumably because they tout their self as “pet friendly “ but they charge a daily fee per pet rather than a standard fee per stay. There is no pet area. The breakfast buffet was a thunder dome but honestly, that speaks more to the quality of guest not hotel. We won’t be back.

Me along with my family stay here for 3 days and I can honestly say that it’s one of the best hotels I ever stay at, I’m very glad I chose this hotel considering it was our first time at Dells, staff was always nice and respectful whenever needed!

It was a nice hotel, beds were hard but ok. Breakfast was very good, and the room was large enough to accommodate everyone, which was so nice.

The carpet was dirty, hallway center was a different color in the center. Only noticed because the edges were so light. Room itself was ok but the bathtub did not drain and yuck was coming out of the drain. The showerhead barely worked.

My family had a wonderful time! We had adjoining rooms which were perfect for the four of us. Everything was neat and clean. We would definitely stay here again.
