The hotel had a not much it the way of food options

The staff were amazing. Rooms are small but modern and comfortable. I stayed to be close to Hobart hospital which is very close and it’s next door to Ronald McDonald house. My niece was airlifted to Melbourne hospital and they refunded my paid in advance nights because I had to leave. Very grateful to them.

Complimentary Bottle of Wine was a lovely surprise.
Also the breakfast was terrific, choice of anything on the menu except the big breakfast. Would recommend. The only let down was the view, on the 5th floor we could only really see car park.

Cafe is not that great and would not recommend. But being located in CBD area, easy walk to other cafes and restaurants.

I liked how the staff went their way to provide for my family to feel comfortable. They provided us with an extra bed and late checkout at no extra cost.

Staff friendly and helpful. That’s where the praise ends. We paid $370 for a very small room, the bathroom light and fan didn’t work making the room humid and smelly, the view out of the window was a brick wall and breakfast wasn’t included. Mantra may consider this good value during the off season. I don’t.

Good location. Disappointing that smart tv wifi connection had been disabled so unable to mirror etc movies for the night. We were told this function on all smart tvs had been disabled for security reasons.
