When we arrived to the hotel we got a room that was dirty and crawling with ants, we tried to cancel our stay for the week due to unsanitary reasons and wanted to find alternative accomodation for the rest of our stay in Crete. The hotel staff was not willing to give us any refund but wanted to change us to a room they called an upgrade due to better view from the balcony. Same type of room and maybe a bit cleaner, but still not a room i would book again.
The hotel staff could with ease have put a smile on their face when encountering guests, but it seemed as if most of them couldnt be bothered,
The website states that the hotel have laundry service, but that is a third party service you have to order one day in advance.
Its kind of far away from the Agia marina main street, but it is a long and only up hill if you want to walk.
The restaurant/bar is expencive compared to other hotels nearby and not particulary good tasting either.
Breakfast is ok, a good variety of dishes and probably the best thing we experienced during our stay. The number of sunbeds by the pool is maybe 1/5th of the hotels guest capasity, so every morning there is a race to get the best spot, snooze you looze.
Pictures on the website seems to be fairly nice but is not honest, i guess the pictures are taken some years ago.
All in all, my experience with this hotel is that they do not live up to what they say in their hotel info on the website, and we will not come back again.

Everything was great, all staff is friendly, the hotel is really cleaned and everything is new, the hotel is located in a amazing area close to the center but is really calm.

A little far from the main road. There is a shuttle bus however, but there is a bit of a gap between 6pm - 9pm where there is no service. The walk is all uphill and brutal in the heat.
Staff were hit and miss. The older gentlemen was quite rude during breakfast service and when he drove the shuttle bus. The hotel tried to also charge us city tax twice.
The room wasn’t the best, bed wasn’t the most comfortable, the bathroom was tiny, I had to turn sideways in the shower. You have to pay extra for a safe in the room, which is wierd. The keys are magnetic, so be careful around your wallet and phone
Pool area was nice, overall the price is reflective of the quality of hotel. Tv was small and didn’t have any English channels.

The rooms were clean and modern. We were not bothered by the position on the hill as we rented a car.
We would probably book again in the next years. 😊

A good basic 3 star hotel which does what it says on the tin. Very friendly owner but other staff less forthcoming. Would be nice if receptionists greeted people as they arrive rather than staring at their computer screen

Wonderful place! We originally planned to stay only one night and ended up staying one more night. Great location, room really clean, very friendly staff, amazing swimming pool and awesome breakfast! Just one thing, the internet isn't working very well (but I'm sure they will improve it in the future). You can still access perfect internet from the lobby where there are lots of couches. One last thing, if you drive there and use Google Maps, do not take the east-most street from the main avenue as this will take you to very very steep and narrow streets...

Wonderful place! We originally planned to stay only one night and ended up staying one more night. Great location, room really clean, very friendly staff, amazing swimming pool and awesome breakfast! The hotel is clean and a good base if you plan to explore or spend your days on the beach. Facilities at the hotel are basic; no tea / coffee making facilities in the room and fridge wasnt switched on and couldnt be accessed to switch it on. Reception staff are a little slow (I had to go to the bar on arrival to ask for someone to check in) but otherwise staff or friendly. As mentioned in other reviews, Alex the barman / bus driver / aircon fixer is the heart of this place, always smiling, friendly and beyond helpful he really made the hotel experience better. Location wise, the hotel is up a hill, about a 12 minute walk from the main road if your fairly fit & able. The area has plenty of restaurants, beach clubs and beaches are clean and well maintained. Just don't expect too much culture unless you're prepared to travel!

had a great holiday room was fine the staff where very very nice all in all the wife and myself had one of the best holidays for a long time and we normally have two a year.
The hotel is at the top of a couple of steep roads away from the seafront but I am 60 years old and my wife is 58 and we found it no problem walking,
the hotel also offers a mini bus to take you down and bring you back although we never used it
