Close walk to Main St, with plenty of restaurants and bars on the same side as the Lodge. It's a quick drive to all the major mountains, I'll definitely be coming back to stay here again!

We found our room to be clean, cozy and inexpensive. (Especially given it was over Labor Day weekend. The location was so very convenient for our needs. I loved that we had really hot water and autumn gold colored towels as opposed to the white ones that all hotels have. Nice touch. We arrived very late in the evening so the contactless key entry was perfect. It was especially nice to arrive to a warm room. Our only issue was that we could not figure out how to make the TV work. We kept getting a message that the signal was low. It wasn’t a big problem though since we went right to bed and left the next morning. We will definitely make the Snowshoe Lodge our first choice for accommodations the next time we go to Saranac or Placid.

If you want a clean place, no frills, at a reasonable price this is the place. I go up to Lake Placid a lot to hike and ski and I just want a clean room within walking distance to town. This place fits the bill perfectly for hikers and skiers who just need a place to crash. The rooms are decorated nicely and the water presuure in the shower is good.

This was a "contact less" place. We made our reservation after office had closed, so keys were not waiting for us as indicated in small room. I had to call and was told to look for key in a box. The room was very clean and comfortable, but our roku television would not load and the same was true for our neighbor's tv as they asked us for a help with it. I sent a text at 9:15 pm, but no response until the next morning.

This was the perfect accommodation. Liked that I could walk everywhere, golf course right around the corner too! Clean and well decorated, super friendly staff. I will call this place home on my next visit, for sure!

A few issues with receiving info and having incorrect information on the sheet in the room. However, Dan was more than helpful in solving those issues quickly. I’m sure it will be a lot smoother in the near future. Very clean and no staff around, which was nice.

Great location. Walkable to Main Street. Pet friendly annd incredibly quiet at night. Highly recommend.
