This place is a good opportunity to save money. The staff are great, but the facilities aren't in the best conditions.

The hotel is really pretty. It is away from the noise of 5th street, which we liked. Our only problem with it was the lack of storage and space to put our things. There were nice counters, but there were huge (pretty) decorations on them which took up most of the counter space. The king size bed took up most of the room. The closet only had three hangars, it could hold about 20 which would have really helped with storage.

Very convenient access to shopping and places to eat, and 15 min. walk to beach. Friendly and helpful staff. Sometimes noise from surrounding neighborhood or guests of the hotel, but generally quiet.

The rooms are small and my mini-fridge did not work. There's no bottles of water in the room and the staff do not speak English. I would not recommend to anyone that does not speak Spanish. With that being said, the room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was nice (although there seemed to be a problem with the hot water--typical for Mexico though). I stayed one night because I needed to be downtown to take the taxi back to Cancun for a flight. It was perfect for that, but I wouldn't stay longer.

The place was not near downtown or beach; but my partner and I enjoyed the walks through the neighborhoods to get to beach area [i.e. 10 minutes]. Some good food and grocery stores close by. Very good value.
