Nice place, a little worn and older. Staff is great and accommodating 👍. Pros: Big rooms, big bed, big refrigerator, shower is separate from toilet👍, big balcony/patio, strong aircon, tv and several channels, good storage, nice pool, large restaurant. Cons: far from restaurants and Alona Beach, beach is a boat parking lot, food is not great unless you ask for things you want and modify the menu (which staff is happy to help and comply)(we bought rotisserie chicken and limo from Paengs across the street and had the hotel make steamed mixed veggies, so it was a good experience 👍. Would recommend for people who don’t want to be on Alona Beach and don’t mind walking or tuktuk back and forth. The town near the hotel has lots of convenience stores and local food options.

Staff were enormously hospitable and friendly. Highly recommend stay here to any beach or dive enthusiast.

For the price this resort is everything you would need to have a relaxed experience. The staff was very kind and extremely helpful. It had a feeling of coming home every time I came back from going out. The swimming pool is very enjoyable. Over-all, Bohol Sea Resort was a very positive and memorable experience. I would definitely come back.

This is solid 2.5 rating hotel. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable.. WiFi is slow inside the room. Nice pool and restaurant although the food could be better... water pressure in shower is weak .. rooms have a fridge and safe.. market is across the road .. 5 minute trike ride to Alona beach or you can walk... about 1.5km... trike only costs 100 pesos .. I like this place, good value for the money .

Rooms very comfortable with plenty, staff excellent and a hearty breakfast. Location not too close to Alona beach which is the main attraction. Would stay again.

Lovely and very colorful hotel. The room was clean and very comfortable - as it's all in bungalows, you feel a lot of freedom, if you don't feel too sociable. They have a nice pool (though we didn't use it), and whilst it is set on the beachfront, it's not the nicest one, and whilst we were there you couldn't walk or swim there. If you're after pristine beach, you do need to go to Alona. It's not too far from the main stretch of the beach and town, though not quite walkable (we had a bike) If you don't mind the extra drive, and want nice, comfortable and peaceful hotel, this is certainly a great choice

The resort is in an area away from the main city center which is nice if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle. Everyone is very kind and accommodating. However there are not really any other restaurants close unless you drive somewhere.

Everything was great, however, the smell coming from the drainage of our bathroom in Bungalow E was very bad. Hope they can do something about this.

Good choice of hotel with a pool. Service is good and staff helpful. The beach in front isn’t nice at all as it’s occupied with fishing boats and also quiet shallow. The hotel is abit further way from the main beach for the ones who like it quieter.

Friendly and helpful staff! The location had great amenities, notably the on-site diving facilities with beach access and the pool.

Very quiet location away from the noise of Alona Beach

Convenient to all places, clean and comfortable. Food was great especially breakfast. Few steps away to the water. In the morning, we bought fish from the fishermen and we asked the hotel kitchen to cook the fish for us, and it was delicious

Bungalow style of a hotel. The room is simple but is clean and cozy. The swimming pool is decent enough; the lounges are my favorite part. The restaurant serves very good food. Best of all, the beach is just at the back of the hotel. Nothing to complain, really!

The hotel is overall not too bad but, be warned that the beach there is terrible condition. There is no one yes, but for obvious reasons. Maybe we went there at a very unlucky time. The rooms are OK, but there has been an episode of broken hot water for the bathroom. It took them 3 attempts and more than 18 hours to fix it. Ultra frustrating.
