The staff at the front desk was wonderful - very pleasant and helpful. Included breakfast was fairly basic, but filling. There was a breakfast attendant on hand keeping everything stocked, which was appreciated. The bed was large and comfortable and the blackout shade worked very well. Bathroom was spacious and we liked the built in dispensers for soap/lotion, etc. Hotel is in a good central location, but not the most direct to get in and out of due to how the roads are structured.
Only minor downside was the room didn't have much extra space aside from the bed. There was one desk chair and one built in bench, but we would have liked another chair and a bit more room to put our things. There is no closet - just a few pegs above the bench for hanging jackets. But overall a nice place to stay for a good price.

My stay was very nice! The room was immaculate and the service was outstanding! I would have liked a microwave in the room, two sitting chairs instead of one and some low-fat dairy at the breakfast bar. Otherwise, the stay was terrific!

The rooms are extremely small. Smallest room I've ever stayed in. Thought I was in Tokyo Japan.

We had a great time at this property. The staff was great, especially Sam. she went out of her way to make sure we were all taken care of.

I was in town to visit daughter at UNC. Front desk was pleasant and helpful. Very polite. Everything looked sparkling clean. Room was nice. Enjoyed my shower and the shampoo, conditioner and body wash were nice. Everything smelled so good. I forgot to bring my pillow, and the pillows provided didn’t offer any support, but I have a neck problem and I always bring my pillow to help, but I forgot this time. I did not eat breakfast, but it looked good and was nicely presented. I will stay here again. It was only a short drive to UNC campus.

The hotel was beautiful, clean, convenient & affordable! The lobby staff were professional, polite & friendly. The room was immaculate & the bed comfy! I’ve already booked Tru for a December visit. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

The heating system was all messed up . couldn't turn it off or adjust it. One of employees tried to fix it and couldn't but got real ruff with the system. Other then that it was ok .

A good place to stay overnight. Our room was on a small side, no tea/coffee in the room (which, sadly, becomes a new norm). But sparkling clean, comfortable, and everything looked pretty new. We haven’t used much of the amenities as we arrived late and left in the morning. But in the morning the breakfast area was not well attended - trash started spilling out of the bin, toaster was broken (people had to hold the spring down), and the reception desk was empty, all of which slightly damaged the last impression. Other than that, it’s not bad.

I left my pillow a very nice expensive pillow and a sentimental item there by accident and when I realized it. Try told me their housekeeping never found anything. And I told them the exact room and the exact location of the two items!
