The security guard in the lobby was extremely rude and unprofessional.

We went on an anniversary trip and stayed in Yellowknife for a week at the end of November. We had a blast!
This hotel is within walking distance of the majority of downtown, unless you're not a fan of walking.
While we were staying here, there was a convention most of the week. This brought the foot traffic within the hotel up significantly. It's already a busy place at certain times of the day from tour shuttles. This was a little off-putting as it caused us to feel like all of our comings and goings were on display with this very large group of people who were not there for tourist things like the rest of us.
The main thing I enjoyed about the hotel was the bed. It's very difficult for me to find a hotel bed that is comfortable. I have back and joint issues that make it hard to sleep in the majority of hotel beds. I was impressed.
While there were a couple of things that I felt could have been better, they wouldn't keep me from staying again. I felt safe and comfortable.

My Air Canada flight from Toronto was cancelled due to mechanical issues and I called Chateau Nova to ask for cancellation of my first nights stay, they would not cancel my reservation. I have several bookings that I will now change hotels.

This hotel is very clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly, courteous and helpful. We stayed in a spacious 1 bedroom apartment which was comfortable and great for spreading out. Airport shuttle was very helpful, lounge is large and restaurant is good.

The property was easy to find, lots of parking and friendly staff. It was large and full but quiet. We needed a room on short notice for one night and they accommodated us.

This hotel was extremely busy and the lot is under construction as they are expanding. There was still lots of free parking. The staff was very friendly...both front desk and cleaning staff. We did not eat at the restaurant that was inside the hotel. There is a grocery store and Shoppers just a couple of blocks away. We stayed in a suite and some items were missing from the kitchen such as forks and our fan was broken. This wasn't a big deal for us. The internet was a little slow. Overall a very nice hotel and a great location in a beautiful city.

The apartment was spacious and we were fortunate to overlook nature. The service in restaurant was slow and did not have friendly staff. The food was mediocre. Do not order the yogurt parfait at breakfast is was very stale. The bacon tasted like it was days old and my husband only got a half piece of toast with his breakfast.
The check in and out went smooth. I don’t foresee us staying here again.

The place itself was lovely. Clean room. Super compfy bed. The food, however, so not good... and service in bar very slow. A bit of a gong show if i am honest. We would stay there again, but not eat in the restaurant.
