This is a nice motel. The staff is friendly and the location is great. The room we stayed in needed updating, but I noticed other ground fllor rooms were already updated. I woul suggest paying for a nicer room. We had a good stay and will return.

This hotel is very old and very dirty. The help are friendly but dealing with lots of complaints and responded in befuddled, unhelpful ways. There is an agreement clause that needs to be signed upon check-in that has a disclaimer about bedbugs. Yuck!!

Our stay at the Shores Inn Motel & Beach Houses was a disappointment. The pictures online are very deceiving. They show only the beach house photos, and nothing of the actual Shores Inn Motel. Their website did not allow for selection of the beach houses. The staff did everything they could to accommodate with what they had to work with. Our first room was extremely humid. The ceiling in the bathroom had started to bubble from what I presume to be a leak from the unit above. It was impossible to take a shower because the bathtub didn’t drain and the toilet flushing filled up the bathtub. Water also leaked out at the base of the toilet from the back. We tried to switch rooms, but the new room had an unpleasant odor. We tried to suck it up, but then the whole curtain rod collapsed with the curtains when we tried to close them. The staff on site tried to do everything they could to accommodate by bringing another curtain rod, but they were not provided with adequate supplies and the only thing they were able to bring was a fragile, improperly secured unit that was missing parts. At this point we had decided not to stay our remaining night here, and we just drove home.

The window coverings had holes there was no smoke detector it was ripped down. A lamp was on a portable heater and dangling cords from lamp and tv, no closet or dresser not one drawer. Bath had no towel bars or TP holder and smelled like sewer. It definitely wasn’t worth what they charge. And the website has pics of beach front rooms THEY ARE NOT BEACH FRONT. The front desk gal was very friendly the only reason we really stayed

I'm arrive at property at 12 AM and nobody is there to give me the key to get into the room so we had to go to another hotel to spend the night and then the next morning I got a video on a text telling me what the key is The next morning and then when I get in the room is Stinky and no AC and Dirty And I was trying to talk with somebody and nobody Answer the phone so I decide to leave that terrible hotel and when I leave Jenifer, call me All MAD Because I leave And she Said To Me she had all My Information To Expose My Self So Im Going To Sue The Property They Keep All Money and We Don't Sleep One single Night There This Place is HORRIBLE and Costumer service Is The Worst I was Travel to Have A Good Time From Texas They Ruin my Vacay

The listing shows beach access, it was about a 5 minute walk to the beach, there was no air conditioning in the rooms, and the room was not kept up, there was duct tape holding the carpet together and the paneling on the bath tub was falling off

The location is desirable but parking is very limited. People and vehicles moving around were very noisy. The room was clean but run-down and showed lots of wear. Jacuzzi tub didn't work.

The shower head fell off in my hand, the furniture was decrepit, the bed & pillows were very old. The wooden blinds would not stay open and the window ledge looked like it had been chewed by a dog. 1 star for the new TV.
