Advertised as a 3-star hotel it is in fact a very basic B&B over a shop.
Stair carpet is threadbare and the the whole atmosphere is very rundown. I usually stay at the Premier Inn which is slightly less expensive and of a considerably higher standard

Good location, really friendly and helpful staff who took a genuine interest in you as a guest.
Room was modern, clean and comfortable.

no real reception, really steep stairs & room at top of three flights - no lift, not in a nice area of town and entrance to 'hotel' exposed, felt quite vulnerable. not for solo travellers

The hotel was accessible from a door on the street next to a Kebab shop! The experience was shocking as reviews seemed to be quite good. Basic tiny room which was clean but very downmarket!

Shower cold then 3rd D burn time. All said for Price will stop again

Very excellent stay, upscaled my room free of charge too big thanks to the receptionist for that, highly recommend the likes of this place over a chain

My room was small and turned towards a rather noisy road. Heated by a single air-con unit, which was not great during a blizzard - at least the room was less noisy...
Overall the property is clean and probably OK for the price.

Very thin walls, no curtains on the windows just office blinds, the room was over the front door so very noisy and the mattress was particularly uncomfortable. But the staff were lovely, friendly and helpful
