An outstanding hotel. From the moment we booked to our leaving today we were treated with the utmost care and kindness. Everyone knew our name, made sure we had everything we needed and always had a smile. Highly recommend!

This hotel is 10/10. The staff are amazing. Make sure you get Jorge to make you a mean margarita! The location is prime and there’s plenty of awesome spots to dine/roam around.

We had such an amazing stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. Jhordan was attentive with booking our tour and our dinner reservations. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Bastión hotel is an amazing property! Room was large, comfortable bed, spacious shower. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast spread was magnificent and delicious!

In general the service is excellent, the staff is wonderful, Mr. Jorge at the pool is special, his professionalism and service are special, I would definitely repeat my stay there.

Nice hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Except for the security guard at the door looking at me as if I didn't belong in the hotel and actually asking if I was a guest the first night I was there every thing was great. Breakfast was excellent.

Great location, beautiful hotel but somewhat outdated as there was poor wifi connection and elevators continuing to brake or be slow.
Also because the main lobby is open to the outdoors, it gets extremely hot and humid there.
Breakfast was lovely but they need more indoor dining space.

One of the nicest hotels I have used during my travels. The hotel had an old colonial feel that mixed traditional and modern. The rooms were gorgeous (traditional beds and high ceilings). The best hotel breakfast of all time - the fresh fruit was such a nice start to the day. Finally, the service team and staff was incredible. When I return to Cartagena, I will definitely use this hotel.

Love my stay at this hotel. The on-site restaurant had great food that was actually really tasty And affordable. I got a spa massage and the masseuse did an amazing job. The rooms were always kept clean, and the staff is always very friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel because it's conveniently located to everything inside the wall city

After the long and tired some travelling and the hassling at immigration we need this hotel to survive. Our stay was amazing and the staff was incredible professional, courteous, helpful and always pleasant !

My wife and I stayed at Bastion Luxury Hotel from June 19-23, 2024. This was our first time visiting Cartagena, Colombia and the staff made our stay so much nicer. The room was very clean, comfortable bed, cold A/C and nice size. The area was great with many restaurants nearby yet away from the hustle and bustle of Cartagena evenings. Jorge at the pool was wonderful and kind. He remembered my wife and my name only after briefly meeting us the day prior. I would definitely stay here again!
