ROACHES ROACHES
My stay was 11/25/24 I wasn’t able to comfortable stay in my room had to sleep in car. I checked in at 8pm left about 820pm returned at about 1030pm showered and my guest was the one who pointed it out that it was ROACHES on the floor they was kind of hard to see due to the blend in with carpet. I left at midnight talked to front staff but ROOMS WAS ALL BOOKED so I slept in my car. I’ve been emailing for about 2 weeks the staff kept giving me the wrong email address to talk to manager because THEY ARE NEVER IN THE STORE ONLY FOR A COUPLE HOURS EVERY COUPLE DAYS that’s crazy lol. But now I have to leave a review. I just want a refund. I’m trying to upload pictures but it’s not loading but if I have proof

We traveled in early November. So this would be great for truckers or anyone stopping and going. They advertised lots of amenities. The pool was closed even though it was 80-90 all week. Breakfast was powered eggs, hot sauce and bacon bagels toast watered down orange juice and apple juice and waffles and oranges or apples and oatmeal. There WAS NO coffee all week. Tea was available. The laundry room did not work. All the claimed amenities was a joke. You do get free parking. Our floor was cracked in the bathroom and there was a plate broken. The pull out mattress was paper at best and very difficult to pull out. There weren’t any towel holders for your towels in the bathroom. There were also not enough utensils or soaps and towels. It was like they forgot they were suites. I would not recommend unless you’re stopping by. Save extra and pay extra for those little details. Ohhh and the WiFi is horrible. WiFi is a must. Save your dollars and go elsewhere.

Stay was ok. The hotel looks older and like it had a half as💲remodel. Upon entering the lobby is clean and looks fine but there was a strong chemical smell maybe air freshener or bug spray. The elevator seems to hang on the third floor and you are just happy the door opens into the hot muggy hallway. The room is consistent with the rest of the hotel. The horrible moldy-musty chemical smell in room in nauseating but you get used to it.. Painters only did one cost of paint in areas and you can see old color underneath. Shower has mildew in corners and the edge of the tile by tube is gross. Other than that it was fine. I would pay a little more next time and stay elsewhere.

I arrived about an hour early the young lady named Mrs. Kim B. was the on duty desk staff and she was SUPER sweet and friendly she let me pay in early so 3:00 we just went to our room and the hotel lobby was very fresh the rooms are very spacious the only thing is it had a musty smell when walking into it odor ban is always great to have with you breakfast was good Mrs. Kim was on duty when we checked out as well this is a hotel I will be using again when in the area 👍

This is my go-to when visiting Desoto. Always a good experience but this visit we could not get help with tech area and kids ran halls even after report was made to the front desk. As a result I changed properties
